Thanks Anthony! First time I've visited the place. I could of stayed on Bottom Lake but really wanted to challenge myself on Top Lake but I will certainly be back for revenge :)
Ha... Always under the brolly.. Just need to get the front and ill be sorted for winter :)... Hahaha.. I've had the chair for agesssss just never use it but may aswell do some filming in comfort lol!
Yes it was beautiful in the day but got rather clear and fresh and night. Complete opposite to the mild few days we are having now. Deffo worth a return visit. I hate being defeated :)
@@MartynsAnglingAdventures if it is any thing like my misses watching repeats of the bill 🤣😂🤣 but yer defo prefer bank life to the sofa .even on the coldest of nights
Can’t win them all bud but at least you didn’t blank on the bottom lake and another cracking watch again. As for the bags I used them the other weekend and to be fair they’re pretty good value you for money took me a while to get it spot on with them as I don’t normally do solid bags but will be from now on as got myself some stems as well. Hope ya next adventure is a cracking one and stay safe
Thanks Albie! Absolutely. I knew Specimen lake was going to be tough as very little had been out through the course of the week. I could of stayed on Bottom Lake and like I say caught 10lb'r after 10lb'r but that doesnt challenge me. I fished as well as I could on Top Lake but when they arent having it they aren't having it. For sure... PVA Solid Bags is an art and once you have mastered it you wont look back. They are a great way of fishing with small amounts of bait. Thanks and you too!
@@MartynsAnglingAdventures where would the fun of staying on the bottom lake have been I would of done the same as you say the challenge gets ya and sorry to read about you leaving bait tec have you had any ideas on a bait you’d like to try I’d give dynamite a message cracking baits
Hi Martyn pal, class video as per usual, just a quick one, would you consider a 3rd person camera angle constantly on record so we can see you bring in the fish? I think that would be a great idea, I don’t know about you, just a thought for you to consider maybe?
Thanks Steve.. Absolutely.. Obviously when you are filming on your own its so hard to try and capture things like that. Theres been many times when i've had a take, im playing the fish whilst trying to reach back for the camera and getting it set up to at least try and capture some of the battle. Its risky as theres always a chance of loosing the fish whilst trying to get the camera sorted but I intend on looking at other hardware in the new year to help build up different angles etc when catching. Thanks for your input and feedback though!
Hi thanks for the video. Wanted an idea of what headlands was like on video. What barrow do you have? Does it fold enough enough to fit in standard cars like Zafira? Cheers
Headlands is a nice little place. Obviously the bottom lake is easier than the top due to the smaller stock. Specimen lake is a tricky little water. Cannot for the life of me remember my barrow is. Something from go outdoors probably.
Proper love your blogs you really give good advice for a complete novis like me
Thanks. It’s appreciated! 👍🏻
