Booooo dude! Accuracy at least is good but, Not only does your computerized voice mispronounce everything, but you shoved in an extra advertisement when we already have to watch a commercial just to watch your program! If they mispronounce things like you're stupid program, then I wouldn't want their game at all! What a money-grubbing sell out!! If you can't do any better than that, I would want my money back!!
When i was a boy, i remember the national geographic special on this Japanese sub , amazing in the early 1970s how much was left intact, sheet music, wooden flute, crew remains....i think it was called Shinohara... anybody else remember that?
what a dignified history of this ship and her crew. no soldier or sailor takes any comfort in the death of the enemy, it happens, we accept it as it is, but i do grow sad at people who do not respect the courage these men showed. thanks for honoring the memory of our once enemy lincoln said, if i make my enemy my friend, i have destroyed my enemy
must have been somewgat foul of air..close quarters, unwashed sailors..fish oil..etc..but they were doing what they felt was right..for Country and their Emperor..RIP Men..
Thanks for video. The port city you mention repeatedly as "cure" is pronounced "ku-re" (呉). As explained by the text on the screen, the Japanese sub video around 11 minutes shows an operation in the Indian Ocean and has nothing to do with the subject submarine I-167.
Anyone really interested in the Japanese submarine mission there are a lot of channels that read memoirs from commanders and officers.. like war tales uncharted ww2 storys, theres a bunch of them.
ya, but i'm so use to stock images for the record, i have been in chinese and russian tanks in iraq, and all the equipment inside is american with NSN numbers to boot
This was a decent video - well researched, and the AI narration had the typical pronunciation mistakes, but it was mis-titled. Apparently the I-169 did not disappear, as the bodies were removed for cremation and there have been numerous dives on it.
It started as I-69 and was changed to I-169. I will have to look into why that was done but it was pretty common for the Japanese to do with their submarines. Appreciate you watching & have a great week :)

@17:54 Trook or Truk?
Truk
Kure is not pronounced "cure". It's Ku-ray, the Japanese word for ceiling: th-cam.com/video/VqWn1SYsX2I/w-d-xo.html.
Thanks my friend! Appreciate you watching & have a great weekend :)
Sure. But, I was not confused. (The day is young!)
