Thought you gonna do a holiday break :D. Thanks for all your work. Im not always following the new driver trend. Im fine with the legion stock one. But always good to be posted about stuff
Wow this really made things a lot more stable while getting very similar gains. The trade off of a few fps for better stability is so worth it. Playing Palworld on my ROG Ally and AFMF2 stopped bugging out
Can you make a video trying to diagnose the issues some of us are bringing up like the amd overlay and reasons we not experiencing these gains your seeing
Love your vids man. Could you do some more testing with space marine 2? Just cause that game fluctuates a lot while playing the operations mode so stable performance is hard to get in some of them
Thanks for all your videos, you literally enhanced my experience with legion go ^^ I found that sometimes, using this driver, when i press "Alt + R" in game the menu doesn't open and it kinda bugs the whole Adrenaline software and I'm unable to open it again even from the notification area. Never happened with other drivers i tried, did you also experience this? Except of this bug everything is working good :)
I’ve had that problem, I tried these things and it fixed it, try in order , update windows, uninstall and reinstall stall legion through Lenovo, if that fails try a boot clean. One of those helped me.
These may be the main reasons. I always use DDU when installing new drivers to ensure they are installed properly. Second, I remove the Xbox Game Bar from my device because it may conflict with the AFMF2 frame generation.
I don’t use global settings because they are unreliable. Per-game settings are more accurate, once adjusted for each game, they will save those settings until you switch drivers.
Hi tpen i have a question if i want to use ddu and go to safe mode i have the problem that i cant deactivate the windows login password no matter what i try i hope you can help me
I have the same problem, just do the same as you would do with safe mode, but before doing that make sure to disable WiFi, reboot the device and not open legion space, then sideload the driver, turn WiFi back on and everything should be working perfectly. I did it around 16 times when a new driver came out and haven’t got an issue one single time.
Still no clarity if Windows update will ruin this or not. Please stop using win11 pro and let us know if Windows update will ruin or not. Many people coming to these videos are not well informed about risks
@FeinerPinkler yes, in that case every few day you need to repeat all steps once more and Windows will still corrupt side loaded drivers anyway. Did I miss a point?

I’m a freelancer, and my current project has been postponed, giving me more time to focus on creating more videos.

Has anyone an idea how to use this with Path of Exile 2? When I use afmf2 the performance is just bad in the game…. Can anyone help?

Whenever i experience this which is rarely, i just close it thru task bar (end task) then i can open amd software again without restarting
@@jerichoedos1467 yes this is what I also do when it happens (also not so often tho). Glad I'm not the only one, thank you :)
Hi,
Wouldn't it be better to set the resolution at 1680x1050 with cru, to be less demanding than 1920x1200 ?
does the game looks and feels nice to play after afmf integer scaling and ris sharpening ??
Will you make an end of year video with the final driver?
Which app are you using to track the fps? Thank you for the great content
Amazing performance. Thanks for the video
How do you know the correct setting for radeon chill?
Very good
Can you make a video showing best dead space remastered settings?
quick ? have you ever heard of the right RB button suddenly stop responding?
I’ve never experienced that, my device is a year old, and all the buttons are still functioning fine.
Thanks for a quick response. Couldn’t find anything on the internet. I ended up filing a claim with Lenovo.
I’ve had that problem, I tried these things and it fixed it, try in order , update windows, uninstall and reinstall stall legion through Lenovo, if that fails try a boot clean. One of those helped me.
Please made video on delta force game legion go controller not working in that game
Does this improve the quality and performance when remote playing with the ps5?
No ,these are settings for local-rendered games, only AMD RIS sharpening would work
Why does everything work on your device perfectly my overlay doesnt show up like yours and don't get these performance gains you get
These may be the main reasons. I always use DDU when installing new drivers to ensure they are installed properly. Second, I remove the Xbox Game Bar from my device because it may conflict with the AFMF2 frame generation.
@T-PEN yeah I use ddu from your tutorial I'll try removing the Xbox game bar hopefully that works I appreciate you alot for helping out
Will windows overwrite the ROG driver if it has updates?
Yes, make sure to update windows before sideloading the driver
Edit: When you update windows turn off automatic updates and then sideload the driver
Merry Christmas, T-Pen! You deserve a break man. Can i leave this settings if i play emulator games (sw*tch games)?
Merry Christmas! As I used to test, AMD Adrenalin doesn’t work well with emulator games.
@@T-PENthank you! One last thing, can i use rtss to cap my frame rate instead of Radeon chill and still have my anti-lag enabled from amd software?
Only issue (maybe it’s just the recording) but the graphics look like a ps2 game. What about 1200p?
God of War Ragnarok, I can adjust to 1200P and make it playable, but Jedi Survivor and Hellblade 2 can’t, as those games are highly demanding.
Can i just set the global settings on amd software for integer scaling and scaling mode? Or do i have to enable it per game just like what you do?
I don’t use global settings because they are unreliable. Per-game settings are more accurate, once adjusted for each game, they will save those settings until you switch drivers.
logically I'm going to set radeon chill to the min fps of each game.

Rog ally driver or original amd driver?
ROG Ally Latest Driver!
for rog ally you should use their driver, asus software team done their best to make best driver for the device
but this is lenovo legion though
Still no clarity if Windows update will ruin this or not. Please stop using win11 pro and let us know if Windows update will ruin or not. Many people coming to these videos are not well informed about risks
Well, if Windows kills the driver it needs 2min to reinstall it. I think the Risk is okay, or do I miss something?
@FeinerPinkler yes, in that case every few day you need to repeat all steps once more and Windows will still corrupt side loaded drivers anyway. Did I miss a point?
Roll back the driver on device manager. It will switch back and not be updated again. It works
I think or more i hope that windows wont Ruin it because the drivers are stock drivers from the rog ally
Just use my utility, it disables auto driver updates from windows update..@@sinanko-no1lb
Time to remove AMD drivers and use the official drivers! Keep updating Lenovo!
I hope the next driver update from Lenovo with AFMF 2 is as impressive as the ROG one, truly the best I’ve ever experienced.
@@T-PEN better than the brand new and drivers?
