Me too. You should read the book Wicked is based on - the animal rights plot is even more heavily emphasized! It was one of my early influences to go vegan. Edit: also, in my experience going vegan helped me heal from an eating disorder and I am at a higher weight a decade into veganism than I was as a meat eater.
Not animals in general but Animals. Aka those that have the human intelligence and speech. The book does not give a cr@p about the regular dumb beasts. The treatment of the Animals is a metaphor for how humans treat other humans. Got nothing to do with animal rights.
My husband and I are 10 years in and going strong! Edited to add: I'm a bit shorter than Ariana and I also have a tiny frame. I've never been underweight, but people often think I am. People are more likely to think I'm underweight in more recent years than when I was growing up. I think it's because, with nearly 3/4 of the U.S. population being overweight or obese now, people's idea of what a "normal" weight is has been significantly skewed.
She got her dream role but then also went through an entire divorce and then entered a heavily scrutinized relationship. And then dropped a whole album and went on a crazy press tour. If you’re someone who forgets to eat when you’re stressed and you’re already extremely thin…you’re toast in like a month
In a society that skews to obesity, people at a healthy weight people appear underweight. When I was at my thinnest, people said I looked gaunt and “too thin”. And I was still at an overweight BMI. I think we are just so used to seeing overweight and inflammation that people at normal weights look ill.
@ That’s true. People being underweight or on the very low end of BMI is pretty rare out in the real world and when you do see it, honestly, it’s much more shocking than seeing the opposite side of the spectrum. It’s also always a massive red flag when someone is under eating, but over eating is very, very normalized and sometimes even expected.
For better or worse, I reached my highest BMI (23) on a vegan diet. I was well under 19 before I went vegan. Now I'm a happy healthy 20. But being vegan certainly isn't going to cause someone to waste away unless they're under-eating too.
Health is why I'm a WF omni. (~6yrs). Seed oils, sugars & highly processed foods are the "poisons", rather than animal products. The😺😸boys get poached chicken treats.. because I love animals.

People just love ripping others apart. Especially if they are more attractive, wealthier, famous, etc. She isn't losing weight because she's vegan or not vegan. People lose weight if they aren't consuming enough calories. (or result of illness) Hopefully despite all the unsolicited attention that goes with being a celebrity she can remain true to who she is. I wish her strength and courage and love to carry on and ignore the jerks.
I've been vegan for 7 years. I did not lose one damn pound when I went vegan. I have not lost any weight since being vegan. Did you know that you can be a vegan and still have an eating disorder?? NOT SAYING SHE DOES. No matter what this poor woman looks like people will comment about her appearance because apparently they ain't got nothing better to do.
It absolutely is not true that a person on a WFPB, oil, and sugar free can eat as much as they want. I have to limit my caloric intake despite being an active person or the pounds pile on. And I love food! 😕
Bryan Johnson, that billionaire vegan who wants to live forever. Had essentially perfect health markers and people would still comment that he looked pale and gaunt. Bryan ended up having procedures to make his face fuller and increased his calories slightly to look fitter and healthier. Because he's also trying to inspire other people to be healthy. He remarked that many people are shallow about health, the data was 2nd fiddle to his appearance for a lot of people.
@@jhunt5578 I think he looks great! Have you seen any of his 'before' pictures? He looks so much better now. And he's not gaunt - he's actually pretty muscular, which shows when he removes his t-shirt.
She is too skinny, and that's not healthy. Any doctor could tell you that, and tell her too. I just say what i see. It doesn't make me feel good or better than i was 5 minutes ago. Just be honest with what you see. I feel sad for her. Also i don't care if she is famous or has millions of dollars (probably she has) i don't care about that.
@petervermeer.4904 I feel bad for most of the people I know who are overweight. But apparently we are supposed to think that's normal and even "good". I'm sorry, no, being overweight is more dangerous than being underweight. Look at the leading causes of death in America. Overeating is a HUGE problem and we should not encourage it. With all of that, Arianna seems like she still has lots of happy energy which is good- so hopefully now that this project is done she can focus more on getting a few more calories into her routine. She's only 5'1" so like 200 extra calories a day would probably do it.
My husband and I went vegan overnight on June 7th, 2017. I was 280lbs at the time, I lost weight, then gained back, had a baby. Now I'm over 200lbs. I'm a big vegan lol and my husband is slim and was slim before we went vegan. I don't think I'm in any danger of having a protein deficiency 😂
I guess these people have never met a celebrity in real life. I work in the film biz and the amount of women in general who are exceptionally thin is astounding. They're thinner and tend to look "normal" on screen. Being around women like that makes me feel overweight. And LOL, as a vegan of 10 years now, I definitely don't look like I'm at the "end stage" veganism stage. ::sigh::
I mean the fact that they said "boy toy" is a red flag. I've been vegan for almost 3 decades. I'v been everywhere from 170-130 and everywhere in between for 30 years. I'm 5'8 for context. Most of the higher weight was associated w when I was married to an abusive man for 5 years and wasn't eating more whole food plant based , not working out, drinking a lot and very depressed. There are all kinds of factors at play.
Nice, I'm a WFPB/Vegan health coach and I'd love to analyze your diet to help you get to normal weight! My guess is oils/processed vegan foods are the culprit :) Feel free to msg me anytime!
@ I was 270 at one point. My boyfriend passed away in 2022 and it completely derailed my weight loss. I’m not exercising really. My eating is pretty good but could be better. I’ll get back on track. I was down to 160 just prior to his passing and have gained 30 pounds since then.
I truly laughed out loud when they said "Dr. [whatever his name was]...a plastic surgeon". Don't get me wrong, plastic surgeon have to have tons of medical training as it involves a lot of risky procedures but nutrition? I loved Wicked!
Take a block of Super Firm tofu, cut into cubes, air fry without oil, toss with some hot sauce (I enjoy the yellow bird organic Habanero and Ghost pepper sauces) and snack on throughout the day. 70 Grams of protein right there, more than enough for most people.
Only a child would say 70g of protein is more than enough 😂. As a 200lbs weightlifter I need to eat over 200g a day. Can't maintain a high level of muscle mass on 70g😂.
Whilst I don't think that there would be an association with veganism increasing risk of ED. I do think that veganism may be attractive for those that already have issues with how they view food. Veganism may be a nice safe place to hide for some.
Not that that's the case for Ariana, being vegan over a decade. She's obviously changed things up. Perhaps being in hollywood has added extra demand. Having both this and her music to concentrate on. Exerting to much energy, and not adjusting for calorie intake, you're gonna lose weight.
Those comments are so triggering to me as a fluffy vegan who has struggled with an ED. People of all sorts constantly try to conflate the two. It can be extremely isolating. I can only imagine it's a thousand times worse for a famous woman.
March 17th will be 1 decade vegan. I eradicated my unhealthy relationship with food, lost and kept off 95lbs, dissolved breast and uterine fibroids, eradicated beginning symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, eradicated lifelong suicidal depression and panic disorder, AND I COULD STILL GO ON.
Veganism isn't a lifestyle, but an ethical philosophy. Being vegan and living according to the philosophy is the lifestyle part. We do a disservice to veganism by calling it a lifestyle, where we once again make it about us and not the animals
I think it is more of an ecosystem that is important to have good nutrition. It is a failure of veganism to promote quick fixes because ultimately it is another world altogether. That other world is the main selling point rather than something to be papered over. When people are confronted with vegans promoting processed junk veganism loses as people turn to raw milk stuff instead that offers some of what veganism should. People want something different and find they are not getting it because veganism is trying to be small and unimposing.
@@dr.emilschaffhausen4683 it becomes a lifestyle because you are deeply rooted in the philosophy. If you don't have the ethics, what you get is a lot of ex vegans, which explains that whole side of things. Once you believe harming an animal is the ethical equivalent of using violence or s**ual assault against another human, you BECOME vegan for life. At least that's how I see it
@@catkin-z8gI'm not sure I entirely understand your point. I agree that quick fixes are not the best strategy and those aren't really what veganism is about. The health aspect is only the third prong of the vegan philosophy, the primary being the animals, and the secondary being the environment. Good health is a byproduct, you could even say the reward, of having ethics that leave animals to their own wellbeing as much as practicable. There's plenty to debate within the philosophy about how far we take that, but the primary goal is pretty well defined. The diet is the major aspect as we all eat everyday. Other products are important too, as we shouldn't be giving money to animal abusers. I'm perfectly fine if people want to be junk food vegans, as they aren't harming animals deliberately. I don't think that makes them the perfect representative for health conscious people, but in America, where fast food is everywhere and some people's staple diet, I prefer they seek what tastes good but is plant based. When the average person sees animal abuse and exploitation, including farm animals, as wrong, we will be well on our way towards the ethical world we seek. It should be based on those ethics and not seeking personal health alone, or a lifestyle that can be called a fad, where people come and go as they please
Been plant based over 7 years now, I’m way healthier now than I was before. I’m 35, work in a mechanical workshop. I’m 178cm, 115kg got a full head of hair and a large beard. I got a high BMI but I don’t look obese, more like strong man fat. The consensus is that I’m probably the strongest one in the workshop so I don’t think I got a protein deficiency 😅. I don’t really count anything i eat but it’s a lot of beans, oats and veggies. I wouldn’t consider myself Vegan but I’m 100% plant based and I try to avoid animal products when It’s practical.
Obsessing like this over any celebrity is deeply pathological. Even worse is actually caring about the opinion of someone who's obsessing about a celebrity. Actually being a celebrity has to be hell..
as someone with an ED past, it is clear that ariana is struggling with one. it also looks like cynthia ervivo may also have one as she has dropped a lot of weight as well. this is not a vegan issue. i would encourage you to look into EDs and people covering up EDs with veganism because its obvious that her weight is not healthy.
These types of comments imply 2 false things: 1) Veganism is a diet. FALSE. 2) There's only 1 vegan diet. FALSE. Veganism is an ethical stance against animal abuse and exploitation. We don't eat animals, their byproducts, or purchase them when at all avoidable. You can be a junk food vegan or an optimally healthy whole food plant-based vegan, and everything in between. It's not a diet, even less 1 diet. People who know nothing about nutrition (i.e. most people) will be unhealthy on any diet they choose until they educate themselves. Again, as I always say, healthy nutrition should be taught to *_everyone_* in HS, science-based, unbiased. P.S. Close to 6 years vegan and kicked 2 major health issues which started pre-vegan. It's ridiculously easy to be healthy without animal products.
Junk food vegan is promoting animal products coz they will send the message vegan is unhealthy and the meat eaters will assume that meat is the elixir of life. It might be vegan on paper but there doesn't seem to be any reason to embrace it other than to sabotage veganism. Healthy nutrition is taught in high school. It is defined as starving most of the day and then eating protein and a little veg. They literally teach disordered eating and more over get people used to it over years when kids have no money or freedom to escape.
@@BorisMiljkovic I think this is all pretty bad. There is like 20 rare cats that died in Washington state recently and if veganism was more health orientated they would know how messed up this is and be protecting these cats. It could just be as you said… She probably dropped a lot of weight due to her working a lot. Especially on Wicked where she ran around a lot and exerted more physical activity and just wasn’t eating enough due to stress. Hopefully she will be able to bounce back and maybe gain a little bit back. Although, all that matters is that she is healthy on in the inside. ❤

As someone who has had an eating disorder I can say that commenting on someone’s body DOES NOTHING to help them 😅
I feel like people want her and other celebrities to quit so that they can feel better about their own choices. Like when the crowd cheered on the Cobert show after the one celebrity said she was no longer vegan. Those celebrities may be the only vegans they know of
She's a super model, and they have a great incentive to be thin. If someone paid me millions of dollars to be thin and to wear some clothes and pose to a camera, I'd be super thin no matter what diet.
very few people consider that there are many other mental health issues that can lead to weight loss. E.g., high stress and depression. When I went through the break-up of my last relationship, I lost A LOT of weight. I lose weight every time I am going through a lot of stress. Meanwhile other people gain weight when stressed. People respond differently to stress
Seems pretty clear that there's underlying issues. Anorexia can affect anyone. Ridiculous how this is blamed on her plant-based diet. I hope she'll get the support she needs. ❤
I haven’t watched Wicked yet, but I've been conspicuous of the amount of hate the two leads have been getting online. This video just might have answered me why. Thank you. ❤
It probably has to do with aging. Think back to yourself or your friends when y’all were in your teens and early twenties. How your fat distribution changed with age. The thin layer of fat all over the youthful body fades with time if you aren’t over eating and actively trying to stay fit. Now imagine trying to keep a flat stomach as you age and what that would do to the rest of your body fat. We change with time and it is as simple as that.
She’s always been slim bodied and it’s disgusting how people are comfortable commenting on her body in such horrible ways. They need to leave her alone ❤
This video just feeds into our ridiculous star obsession in the U S. I'd be much more appreciative of getting the latest research on the diet I choose, which is whole plant food veganism. Looking good Mic!
A non-vegan loses muscle/weight: 'She must be stressed or something' A vegan loses muscle/weight: 'IT HAS TO BE HER VEGAN DIET LACKING ANIMAL CORPES!!😮 Hope she is okay and stays science-based/vegan.
I know you’re young, but some perspective could help: “Late stage capitalism” has been a phrase used in political thought for over 50 years, throughout more than 50 years. When I started college in 1975 there were scads of books on “Late Stage Capitalism.” And socialists have talked about late stage capitalism for at least 100 years. Apparently the late stage of capitalism is lasting longer than early and mid stagers combined.
I hope she handles the unjust negative criticisms as well as possible. If she does have any health issues I wish her the best and hope she stays Vegan for the animals of course, despite all the not so kind guff non Vegans will throw at her etc.🌱🌅🍀
When I was I was eating SAD I was over 80kg overweight now I am vegan WFPB I have already lost 40kg in 18 months. It's not hard to lose weight eating this way and I don't know why this society has such a facination on peoples weight. It's no ones business but yours. Unless your doctor is unhappy with your weight then there is no reason to worry.
Ariana is very slim but then a lot of celebrities are, I aspire to be slimmer too like those chic Parisian ladies, maybe one day I'll get there (!) Very slim women like Audrey Hepburn was only look "anorexic" because everybody else is chubby or worse. Ariana's paler make-up makes her look slimmer too which would inflame the wicked intrusive gossips, I say leave the lovely Ariana alone to deal with whatever she needs to deal with, her weight and diet are nobody's business. Thank you Mic for being respectful. I've just remembered that when a lot of Indian and Pakistani immigrants first came to London they were all skinny, and some of them still are. Being slim used to be normal for both men and women until a few short decades ago, just look at old photos up to the 1970s. I've been fat and I've been slim, I've been unhealthily slim on a carnivore diet and I've now been healthily slim for 5 years on a WFPB way of living, and I know which I prefer.
I'm in a ski town in Chile (summertime here now) and they have at least 3 vegan restaurants with several more with vegan options. It's way more than progressive towns 3x its size in the USA. It is definitely a tourist town and not the norm.

I watched few Anna Oop's videos. She, like Abbey Sharp, is one of those internet people who scream "Eating Disorder", if they see someone eating an apple, or lose 1Kg.
Been vegan since same year as AG... 2013. I wouldn't bet on any celeb but I if I had to I'd say after 10 years she's more likely than not to be a lifelong vegan now. She sounds mature as well. We've got to get away from hearsay anecdotes in any case. Veganism is a problematic word because it makes it about us as opposed to a moral obligation to stop exploiting non-human animals, which we all have here. It never has been a "diet" or a lifestyle choice. Its just a basic understanding of non-human animals and their rights.
its difficult to understand that not paying for cruelty to animals is controversial and 'cute and all..but priorities' preventing cruelty in this world for everyone is the priority..isnt it? human rights ..animal rights... how can this be controversial ..these people must have amputated their empathy and rational thought ..there seems to be a lot of them

I do have to supplement zinc as well as the usual b12 because I'm too lazy to eat pumpkin seeds. When am I reaching end stage veganism? Celebrities are thin, vegan or otherwise. They are required to be like that, calories have nothing to do with veganism
I didnt lose weight going vegan, neither did my husband, my mom, my daughter, we actually all gained some weight since we went vegan because we ate more deliciously than ever...we were basically just eating what we ate before veganized and then started coming up with new recipes and going above and beyond lol. I am back at my starting point but anyway Ariana grande is thin because she clearly is suffering from an eating disorder and using veganism as a cop out even though she's not vegan at all...vegans are vegans for the animals yet she wears fur and has been seen promoting foods with animal products over the years. This is a diet for her in that case and from what I've seen she eats pretty much just low calorie food like vegetables seaweed and black coffee as her staples.

Maybe Ariana is just in "not-enough-chocolate stage veganism"?
Same...🤣🤣🤣
I got so low cholesterol beeing vegan so went back to eating some animals.
Absolutely.
yeah, I have noticed this too
When you are vegan you are more liekly to get thin/ fat depleted skin. Thats makes you look underweight. Eat more protein and fat
That’s very true
I’m done with humility.. Women who hate on thin women are self-loathers who obsess over wishing they weren’t fat.
She got her dream role but then also went through an entire divorce and then entered a heavily scrutinized relationship. And then dropped a whole album and went on a crazy press tour. If you’re someone who forgets to eat when you’re stressed and you’re already extremely thin…you’re toast in like a month
Thank you for saying this. She will recover people need to leave her alone
I’m 67, and a triple heart attack survivor. In seven days I will start my 5th year as a vegan. I’m off all heart medications 👍👍👍
I came in chunky and still am chunky :))❤
Same same. I have always adored food and thank veganism for keeping me chunky instead of ChOnKY. I used to go to Wendy's so often they'd remember me 😂
You can be obese and still malnourished.
For better or worse, I reached my highest BMI (23) on a vegan diet. I was well under 19 before I went vegan. Now I'm a happy healthy 20. But being vegan certainly isn't going to cause someone to waste away unless they're under-eating too.
Some get fat (due to excessive carbs) and some get thin on vegan diet.
@@urskaspan4598 it's funny and interesting how some individuals demonize ALL carbs. 🤔. Please don't do that.
Ariana is a lovely young woman who has been horribly judged her whole life.
Agree. And sadly now more than any before. I hate people
Beacause she was doing things that were not very nice!
Ha ha! Health is why I am a vegan. 7 years. No more Ulcerative colitis, Iritis, or asthma.
I stayed for the animal's.
No more UC? Outstanding mate! I'm so happy for you 😊❤🎉
Same, I am vegan almost 10 years, I am also for my health a vegan.
Health is why I'm a WF omni. (~6yrs). Seed oils, sugars & highly processed foods are the "poisons", rather than animal products. The😺😸boys get poached chicken treats.. because I love animals.
I've been vegan for 28 years, and all of my serious health problems existing at the time disappeared within one year.
Been Vegan 7 years. Did an Ironman, 100k ultra marathon, marathon swim, and a sub hour doubles Hyrox this season. 🤷🏽♂️ Still waiting for that end stage / protein deficiency thing.
Yes, I take all my nutrition advice from the guy who injects my wrinkles with botulism 😂
🤣🤣
Seriously what a joke 😂
I'm sorry that I'm going to say this, but it looks like Ariana may be having an eating disorder. That has nothing to do with her being vegan.
People just love ripping others apart. Especially if they are more attractive, wealthier, famous, etc.
She isn't losing weight because she's vegan or not vegan. People lose weight if they aren't consuming enough calories. (or result of illness)
Hopefully despite all the unsolicited attention that goes with being a celebrity she can remain true to who she is. I wish her strength and courage and love to carry on and ignore the jerks.
Shut up with your virtue signaling
Absolutely. Thank you for saying this.
Yeah, she’s not eating enough calories, period
When the norm is to be obese, anything less than that seems unnatural
Spoken like a true person with an E D.
People will talk about you when you're fat or skinny to make themselves feel better. I would rather be skinny than fat any day.
100%!
@@petervermeer.4904 And in Asia she'd be considered perfectly adequate. Cultural perceptions have little to do with health.
I've gained 25 pounds since going vegan, most of it is muscle...Vegan 7 years, and still waiting for the protein deficiency to kick in!
Your baby is sucking protein out of your body. It comes first and you could very well suffer on too little protein and DHA even if you didn't before.
You are that's why you have high fat mass, and low muscle mass.
I find it easy to keep or put on weight on a vegan diet. I think a lot of it comes down to genetics
I've been vegan for 10 years, and haven't noticed any difference in my strength or stamina whatsoever compared to my carnivore peers.
12 year vegan and always will be. 60 pounds overweight but all my blood work is immaculate :)
None of them learn about nutrition or even health. It is about diseases and protein is how they generate those to make money out of.
So now protein powders are bad? What about all the weightlifters to get massive amounts of their protein from protein powders, and shakes
Take a block of Super Firm tofu, cut into cubes, air fry without oil, toss with some hot sauce (I enjoy the yellow bird organic Habanero and Ghost pepper sauces) and snack on throughout the day.
70 Grams of protein right there, more than enough for most people.
Omg the air fryer makes the best tofu I've ever had. Just perfect texture.
@@MtnGirll I know, I pretty much only use Air fryer now for making tofu
Yes! I also like it with liquid aminos and Date Lady BBQ sauce :)
I never thought this would happen, but I am so totally addicted to tofu. All these recipes make me hungry.
You are right. Many with ED will claim to be vegetarian or vegan as an excuse for not eating various things.
I don't think I ever seen any Carnists talk about Pamela Anderson.
Those comments are so triggering to me as a fluffy vegan who has struggled with an ED. People of all sorts constantly try to conflate the two. It can be extremely isolating. I can only imagine it's a thousand times worse for a famous woman.
It's ridiculous
12 years vegan, perfect bloodwork, no supplements except B12.
the fact you have to take a supplement says it all.
@@davidthomas-ot4cl the fact you have to make an animal take a supplement and then kill and eat it instead of taking it yourself says it all.
That's awesome news! Would you please share your blood type with me? Trying to figure out if I should do the blood type diet.
Excellent!
17 yrs vegan and thriving💋
I stopped eating meat in 1997 and have now been vegan for 19+ years. Almost 45 yrs old. "End stage veganism" 🤡
She never did this with meat eaters that are anorexic. Blaming veganism for a weight loss she doesn’t deem as attractive is weird.
Veganism isn't a lifestyle, but an ethical philosophy.
Being vegan and living according to the philosophy is the lifestyle part.
We do a disservice to veganism by calling it a lifestyle, where we once again make it about us and not the animals
Well said. Thank you.🌱☮🌱
It's a lifestyle based on a philosophy.
I've been vegan for 13 years and have never been thin. I actually need to lose weight. As others have said, it is under-eating that causes thinness
I would not make these kinds of judgements until I put them on a bio electrical impedance scale for women.
36 years of being a Vegan and no health issues.
These types of comments imply 2 false things:
1) Veganism is a diet.
Contradictions. What is your second take, after reviewing your comment? Is it a diet? Is it about health or ethics? Religion? Honest question.
@@BorisMiljkovic I think this is all pretty bad. There is like 20 rare cats that died in Washington state recently and if veganism was more health orientated they would know how messed up this is and be protecting these cats. There is a film from Andrew Kaufman covering the stalk flew called Terrain.
@@catkin-z8g I'm not gonna claim that my diet is perfect for anyone, however, for cats, raw meat is a necessity. Anything else is cruelty.
I am the world's greatest vegan.
Horrible to have that much criticism. I hope she ok
Thanks Mike. You bring me the celeb gossip stuff and anti vegan chat which otherwise I seem to miss.. Keep up the good work!
Well, I've been vegan for 15 years now, and through this time I put on 15 kgs of muscles...
erivo was never vegan in the 5 yrs she claimed to be vegan.
I personally have a SUPER fast metabolism, but being vegan I can stave off my hunger much more strongly.
hey mic its been a while. im almost done with my public health degree, and ive just seen you again still going strong, i love to see it, and ive been rediving into the veg research and by god its amazing. I LOVE BEING WFPB MAN THANK YOU FOR THESE VIDEOS
I blame her nutritionist- they are obviously giving her bad advice. She just needs more calories in her diet. I didn't even know she was vegan but I had seen she was quite skinny. I have the opposite problem, I'm vegan and I put weight on! Trying to get rid of a stone in 2025 :(
Good luck! I have put on a stone (on a vegan diet) since I started doing 5K runs. Probably a bit more muscle mass, but the jiggly stuff on my bum is definitely not muscle :-D
Me too!
I heard she had a chef so it is probably too much gourmet restaurant type food, nuts, seeds and not enough fruit.
I’m almost at 11 years… when is my vegan weight loss coming?! 🤣
You are perfect!
I did write a ✨perfect✨ article about animal rights in Wicked (before watching this video!) so 😏
Vegan for 11 years , veggie 35 years before, 69 years old on no meds ❤️
10 years vegan after 5 years vegetarian. After 3 years of being a vegan l started gym training to help me with my MMA training. Went from 77kg to 92kg and after some fat loss down to 89kg. No physical ailments yet, nor reason to quit :D Also, no protein supplements, just lots of seitan & legumes.
As someone who has had an eating disorder I can say that commenting on someone’s body DOES NOTHING to help them 😅
I'm a 20 year vegan and not skinny not unhealthy!
It’s NOT a diet. It’s a lifestyle
12 years vegan and no health issues.
I don’t think she’s ever modeled other than small promotional shoots for vogue lol. She is much too short to be a super model
very few people consider that there are many other mental health issues that can lead to weight loss. E.g., high stress and depression. When I went through the break-up of my last relationship, I lost A LOT of weight. I lose weight every time I am going through a lot of stress. Meanwhile other people gain weight when stressed. People respond differently to stress
Vegan about 10 years and thriving :)
66 years old. 12 years vegan. No health issues. No meds. No problem.
Seems pretty clear that there's underlying issues. Anorexia can affect anyone. Ridiculous how this is blamed on her plant-based diet. I hope she'll get the support she needs. ❤
"end stage veganism" that's hysterical. 30+ year vegan. Zero medications, perfect health. 75 years old!
Another excellent video, Mike! 🫶🌱💚
A non-vegan loses muscle/weight: 'She must be stressed or something'
A vegan loses muscle/weight:
'IT HAS TO BE HER VEGAN DIET LACKING ANIMAL CORPES!!😮
Hope she is okay and stays science-based/vegan.
16 years vegan been an ideal weight my whole life, still biking to work everyday. Where’s my headlines.
As a vegan weight lifter, I hate to hear that vegans are better at specifically one bench press exercise. Why can’t we be optimized to deadlift more?
When I was I was eating SAD I was over 80kg overweight now I am vegan WFPB I have already lost 40kg in 18 months. It's not hard to lose weight eating this way and I don't know why this society has such a facination on peoples weight. It's no ones business but yours. Unless your doctor is unhappy with your weight then there is no reason to worry.
I'm over a decade Vegan athlete with perfect blood health and best heart in the doctors office.
I'm 100+ lbs. heavier than when I last ate meat over 20 years ago. (I hate myself, not the animals.) People will say anything if it allows them to bash veganism.
True
Awesome research ❤
its difficult to understand that not paying for cruelty to animals is controversial and 'cute and all..but priorities'
preventing cruelty in this world for everyone is the priority..isnt it? human rights ..animal rights... how can this be controversial ..these people must have amputated their empathy and rational thought ..there seems to be a lot of them
erivo claims she is vegan, but she is not. I do not eat red meat very often???? That is not veganism! That is not even 90% plant based. gross Does she know what 100% plant based means or veganism is?? 7:40
Great Video Mic, I am happy she is vegan even though I am not crazy about her as a person
I'd say she's plant based, not vegan.
Yeah she has done some untasteful relationship stuff but I had to draw the gossip line somewhere lol
I've been vegan 11 years, I'm a gastro dietitian, I'm the most athletic person I know and can lift heavier boxes than anyone I know because I lift, jump rope, run etc. Weight in the healthy BMI range.
Been vegan since 2018, never going back!! ❤🌱🌿
I'm a "larger vegan." 😂
I had to laugh so hard at the end with the body builder when you said "and probably some steroids"
