Norway, '24 "Oss for Norge"

Darrell and Loretta's (and Kathy's) epic trip to Norway from September 7-October 2, 2024.
We flew from SEA to Reykjavik to Oslo, then, to Tromsø. The maps will show our path; we did a 5 hour loop by car (and overnighter) to Sommarøy, Senja, Finnsness and back to Tromsø. The next day, we flew to Bodø and on to Svolvaer in the Lofoten Islands. Our second rental car took us to Å, Reine, Sørvågen, Fredsvang, Uttakleiv, Vikten, Henningsvaer and back to Svolvaer. The next day we hiked and in the evening, boarded the Hurtigruten's Polarlys (Polar Light). After 16 ports over four nights on board, we arrived in Bergen, where we stayed for four nights before Kathy arrived and we all joined an EF Tour.
The Tour group took us to sights in Bergen, then, by bus we drove to Flåm stopping at many beautiful places along the way. More bus to Geiranger, more amazing views and food. More bus to Ålesund. Finally, we flew back to Oslo where the tour ended, but we stayed a few extra days to meet with our friends who are from Sweden and of course, our daughters.
Whiel in Oslo, we rode an electric train to Fredrikstad and then back home from Oslo through Iceland/Frankfurt Germany to Seattle/San Francisco.
It was endlessly fun and exhausting as validated by my Apple Fitness rings being fully closed EVERY DAY.
Can't wait to go back!
