Thanks Bandit, I’ve bought the rear Lastfit led light set up, great product. Come on guys we’re getting closer to hitting the 10K subscriber goal, we can do it. I need that OVTune package 👍👍
Amber/“yellow” fog lights have been popular in the US for 40 years! Most people are just ignorant on the subject. Amber lights are most affective in FOG, and MIST. Contrary to popular belief, and what most people incorrectly assume, white lights are NOT fog lights! They aren’t fog lights now, and they never have been considered fog lights to vehicle enthusiasts who know better. White lights are properly called DRIVING LIGHTS. You never want to use them in fog or must. Especially when set as high off the ground as they are in your Toyota. For a white light to do any good at all in fog or mist, they have to be at MOST, no more than 6” inches above the ground! Amber lights (which you call yellow) can be higher off the ground, because the amber light does NOT reflect back off the fog and mist into your eyes like white light does. Hopefully this explains why fog lights have always been colored Amber, and all vehicle enthusiasts that know anything, have always known this. They are more popular on European cars, since the European market caters to many sports car enthusiasts and sports car clubs. None of those guys would ever use a driving lamp and call it a fog light. That’s the difference. Just saying.
I have the 4 mode design on my VW CC and let me tell u they work yes but not with out throwing codes for a brief second. I guess its the way the cars computers see the lights
@TrailPass Do u still have ur switchbacks on ur taco? I notice this video was 3 years old, think this is the way to go. I don’t have oem fog lights for my 2015 lifted Scion xB. But since they are H11’s, they will definitely be on my low beam headlights. I originally was thinking goin for just pure 3000k h11 led lights from auxito, the auxito Y13. That has an external driver. But I think these would be the best of both worlds. A lot of people loves these on there vehicle, and some of them had some issues by there led bulbs switchbacks that’s flickering. Do they still hold up well with no issues?
How will this work with high beams? If you leave your fog lights on and turn your high beams on at the same time it turns off your fogs. Will this cause them to change colors?
Saw this a thought it was super dope. I ordered a pair and just put them in but the damn thing was stuck on 2 different colors and wouldn't switch back to the same colors. I tried everything, guess I'm gonna have to return them
If you say they alternate, unplug one of the modules and turn the switch on. while on, plug the module back in. if it's the same, you are good. if not, unplug the module again (while the switch is still on) and plug it back in. now they should be the same.
Unfortunately my SR didn't come with the wiring harness and I would have to install all that first.. a project for some day... not a simple upgrade for me
@@Natschke_Family_Adventures I do love the SR-3.5L. No extra crap - minimal electronics and I get the chance to customize to my liking... saved $6K under the SR5. In 2016 my truck was under 30K
******PLEASE READ****** you DO NOT need to take apart the wheel wells, you can lay on the ground on your back and reach right up to the bulbs, I don’t care what anybody says I had shoulder surgery three weeks ago and was still able to do everything with just one hand, you disconnect the power before you disconnect the bulb and then you put them right back in and then just use a zip tie to zip tied wire to a nearby wire so everything just doesn’t hang out I don’t care what anybody else says I just got done doing it.
Yeah you can't run them at the same time as high beams, but in reality you never should anyway. If conditions are bad enough to actually need fog lights, chances are your high beams are probably going to reflect too much light back at you anyway.
That's not the point... if you are using the white setting as driving lights and switch on the high beams, they turn off right? But now if you switch off the high beams, your fog lights will come back but switch to amber. that can get real annoying.
@rickyoder9004 That's not how they work at all. They only switch to amber within a certain time frame of YOU switching them on and off. White is default at all times, until YOU "switchback" to Yellow.
My only concern with these, as with all LED bulbs, is that you're putting and LED bulb into a halogen housing. 9/10 this causes glare into the eyes of oncoming traffic. I see people here in CO running something similar (often times the Rigid fog lights) in the day and that shit is still super bright in my eyes. I would absolutely not be running them at night in the snow, when you need them most and the dangers of blinding oncoming traffic becoming increased. LED bulbs do NOT emit light in the same direction that halogen bulbs do, hence screwing up the beam pattern. I'd be curious to see a side-by-side comparison at night from a camera on a tripod at driving height between stock halogen bulbs and these LED bulbs. Tons of articles and videos out there about why LED in halogen housings aren't good. See that glare up high at 5:53? I would definitely pull you over and ask if those were LED if I were a cop. That shit is definitely blinding oncoming traffic dude.
There's still people running bright ass LED bulbs in reflector housings my guy. And everyone knows that's 100x times worse than someone running LEDs in a projector housing. The reflector housing causes a really bad orb of light that has no cutoff what so ever while the projector housing at least has a clean cutoff.
I've been running yellow fogs since I bought the truck, but I think it would be cool to be able to change them over like that. Nice.

I just installed the Lasfit switchback fog lights very bright video doesn’t do justice very bright
I put amber Baja pods to replace my fogs. These are super sweet. Hell, I may move my pods to ditch brackets and get these for my stock fogs.

Update time! Hows the lights bud! Still running strong? Any flickering or dimming?
I actually sold the truck, but the lights held up great in my experience!
Cooling fan will not like water for sure.
François Lataste agreed went over a pewny little puddle and one completely went out, contacted lasfit and they said it’s a difficult fix

Will this pass va state inspection
Do they switch colors when you engage and then disengage the high beams?
Yes, not every time but they do. The only thing I am not happy with on them.
Any updates?
You sound like Ashton Kutcher
A cooling fan? Makes me question the durability and longevity.
What lights do you have on your projectors?
They were from LASFIT as well. I believe they're called the LS series!
Can you use these for the low beams
I'm not sure the color changing ones work as Low Beams but I did have Lasfit LED high and low beams on my truck as well.
What's with the screwed up aspect ratio?
I have been experimenting with some different editing software. I apologize
Damn I thought they switched from white to yellow, not from off to yellow 😐… that prob sounds picky lol
These switch between white, yellow, and off.

If you have glare shining into opposing traffic, you either have them installed incorrectly or just plain purchased the wrong bulb for your lamp.
