Loved this. Very interesting. And “beaver butt goo?” I really did laugh out loud on that one. Your facial express for this one was spot-on. Haha. Thank you for sharing Marie.
One thing to keep in mind is that carmine can be an allergen for people who are allergic to shellfish. It has a lot of different names in ingredients lists like cochineal, E120, and crimson lake, if one needs to avoid the ingredient.
Ok, i was grossed out by number 2 until my daughter introduced it to me, she bought a serum from a Korean skincare brand that contains it, and her skin is just GLOWING so I started using it lol🤷🏽♀️😂
Great video as always Marie. Beaver butt goo!? Icky!😂 Not related to the topic but I just saw my first pic of the polka dot lake ya'll have up there in Canada. Amazing that I've never come across that before. ( thanx internet ) Anyway, have a great day and thanks for all the great videos and info that you share!
During your research on Snail Mucin, did you happen to run across places to purchase Phyto Mucin? The places I'm finding either okra or wild yam extracts at you have to buy in large amounts, but I'm hoping maybe there are some places I haven't checked yet.
I'm afraid not :( This might be a good alternative, though: shop.skinchakra.eu/en/Cosmetic-Lab/Cosmetic-ingredients-A-Z/VEGELURON-ECO.html?listtype=search&searchparam=vegeluron. It's not marketed as a snail mucin alternative, but could likely serve a similar role.
How in the world did people contrive using ambergree, beaver butt goo, or snails. Similar to cosmetics I was curious about how they ventured in cheese making some are pretty gross. Maybe they were overly curious or bored. I have snail skincare and it's good, no snails are harmed.
Back in the day I loved, loved, loved the Museum of London. At an exhibition of 17th century beauty I was treated to the sight of desiccated mouse skins. Turns out the fashion at the time was to shave one's own eyebrows off completely then glue the mouse skin, (complete with fur obviously), on. 🤣🤣🤣
I was scared to use lotions with Urea because I thought it was made from urine. I had no idea this would be my dry skin saver.
Loved this one, Marie!!! Great video!!
Marie, you are on a roll! 😊
Really new and interesting and fun to watch thank you for your sharing ❤️

Hi Marie! Please make a vedio on how to dupe our fav skincare products for beginners 😅 please
Simethicone is used as de-gas tablet because of its slip. It coats the gut lining and allows air to "slip" out relieving bloating via flatulence.
