When he says "OW should have easy to play characters, but they shouldn't be meta" rings very true. Blizzard used to have this great rock-paper-scissors principle, that they nearly perfected in WoW. It kept things while not perfect, but very balanced. But when Bobby started sticking his fingers in OW business, that guy abandoned. Now, it's a shit show.
its much easier to balance wow than it is to balance ow. Also saying that its activisions fault that the game when to shit is just cope. The balance team killed the game.
@@Tutualoe OW had a good run. A very good run for a while. And yeah, balance team made some mistakes. *cough* Tracer *cough* Brig. But, let's be honest here for a moment. A lot of good talent, if not most, left Blizz some time before Jeff made the exit. And that is when $h!t got off the rails. I'm not sure how many people left after, but there were inside reports that the team is struggling to have enough devs to simply support the game as is. And that was around the time when employees started acting out over some BS like McCree too...
@@WBraxx shit was getting out hand even when Kaplan was still there. Moira which IMO was the beginning of the end for overwatch was created when kaplan was still there, same with brig. And the people that came after kaplan like Goodman, all followed the same hero design and balance philosophy put in place by Kaplan. Also sidenote, I don't think tracer was ever a problem for this game.
@@Tutualoe Brig was introduced to the game to reign in Tracer. She ran the show with Cree being the only counter, but not effective enough. And after Brig it just snowballed from there...
