  • It's Thanksgiving, and I realized I do have a food related attraction video! It's in NTSC 480i, taped in June 2000, which was 22 years ago as I'm posting this, lol. It was the first time I was at Disney World with a video camera. So I fired up the editor this morning and made it faux-1080p...
Didja ever wonder what was in the Land Pavilion before that attraction named, "Soarin'" was there?
If you're answer was "Kitchen Kabaret," you're correct! But I don't have video of that.
Instead, I have Food Rocks, the attraction that ran for 10 years between Kitchen Kabaret and Soarin'. An audio-almost-animatronic stage show, which was only okay, but it let you sit down in an air-conditioned room for 15 minutes. Hey, you take what you can get on those hot and humid days...
It's with your host, Fud Wrapper!
The weenie of this attraction, was a few of the original musical bands/people who performed the song, actually came to Disney and recorded the parody version for Food Rocks.
Not a lot of tears were shed at it's demise, since Walt Disney World visitors eagerly awaited that E-Ticket attraction from California Adventure.
I have a organized list of my video on my website:
