That said, even the greatest singers like Aretha Franklin have never hit me emotionally as hard as this performance. When you hear an artist say they "leave everything on stage" in a performance, for me, this was definition of that kind of performance.

I still can't believe that Jennifer didn't make it to the live shows. She was clearly the best singer of the Overs group, collecting two lengthy standing ovations (including the judges) after her first audition and after the six chair challenge. I sure hope she decides to try again on X Factor and if not that show, perhaps The Voice, since her voice should be heard by all.
