Absolutely do not move. That house is a dream and your yard is incredible. Newer houses just don't have the land that you guys have. You are so blessed to have such a nice yard!
I dont agree with this. Adding on to a home can be a lot more expensive than buying a whole new home. Their family is still young, this does not have to be their forever home.
Stay in that house! You’ll be thankful for the extra yard space as they grow. I’d put a small room off the new master that could be the nursery for the next baby and once he/she moves to the other side, then you can make it an office.
I am not sure about your exact floor plan, but it seems to me adding a master behind the kitchen might be best. You could use your other 3 bedrooms for kids with the master for Asher and Reuben maybe. You can always have the twins or other kids share a room if you ever needed to. The master would be near the laundry area as you talked about too. That would also be a split floor plan too giving the master more privacy.
I'm a triplet and when my brothers and I were little, like babies and toddlers, we shared a room. But once we got to like 4 or 5, mum and dad made sure we got our own rooms. We still have those rooms and it is the best decision ever. Being around my brothers at school and around the house is hard enough. I'm glad I have my own bedroom.
I agree that you shouldn’t move! I think that this house definitely has the potential to be your forever home and I also think that you would be giving yourself a lot of equity in the future if you were to expand because the house only having three bedrooms but that much outdoor space maybe isn’t practical for potential buyers if you did decide to sell maybe once all of your kids are grown up and you and Justin become empty-nesters. I think that if you go ahead with that plan then you should move your and Justin‘s master bedroom to that new wing of the house, as well as a bonus room which can be a nursery for the new baby in the short term but maybe can become a bedroom for Emma once she’s a little older and possibly even an office space in the future. That way, it’s not as big of a crisis for you to have such separate bedrooms. In my parents house, their bedroom is on the west wing whereas mine, my brothers, and my grandmothers/the spare office room are all on the east wing, which provides my parents with a good amount of privacy. If you have that situation but with a nursery right next-door, it would be a great short term solution.
Don’t do the Jack and Jill for kids!! We have one between my younger two, and it’s seriously an out of sight, out of mind type thing. I never have a reason to go in now that they are 9&12, and when I do, there’s always something to fuss at them about. I seriously wish it was open to the hall so I could see it better. It also creates a “racing track” and someone is always fussing about a sibling coming through their room. It would be so much better if they had their own space and only shared a hall bathroom.
Another idea is to open up a hallway off the family room at the back and add a couple more rooms there so you'd all be on the same side of the house. Adding onto a house that only has a slab foundation and is in an area that doesn't freeze (water pipes aren't an issue) is so much easier than doing it in colder climate or with a basement. Get an architect and they can give you the ideas that will work with what you want.
I'm a twin and didn't have my own room until my twin moved out at 20. also my 2 younger sister s share room until I more out as well. Having a 3 bedroom house will 4 kids is not a big deal
Love the idea, but I would totally go off your bedroom and expand down the back of the house towards the livingroom. The slab is already there from the deck.
You could make a new master bedroom with a laundry room attached and a nursery on that side of the house. The old master could become a bedroom for your twin boys if they want to keep sharing a room, or for Emma to have her own princess suite!
This is basically what I came to say too! They could even maybe figure out some way to use those 3 rooms and make the jack and Jill she wants and then just build on the new master/ laundry
My twins are almost 9, we have separate rooms for them, and they always ended up back sharing a twin bed in one room. We put them back in the same room with bunkbeds and they still share a bed! They both sleep on the double on the bottom, and now their 5-year-old sister sneaks in and sleeps on the top! Haha in the grand scheme of things to worry about, you can put this at the bottom of the list! :)
Emma is so adorable! The twins are growing up so fast. We built a house 4 yrs ago. Really check out any contractors, don’t use a friend or relatives. Check previous project owners satisfaction. Check on time of completion with previous clients. Totally have the contract reviewed by a legal person. Make sure you have a way to be sure they keep they’re end of the contract, materials, (who has ownership of any leftover materials)time, payment agreement (within reason) . I seriously, would add on, if possible. I love your home too. It just looks like you and Justin. The yard is beautiful! Just be sure Emma doesn’t share a bathroom with the boys. Lol. 😂🤣
How adorable Emma says don’t fall mommy and the boys are loving their time with daddy. You have a really lovely family Emma just loves being with mommy. Enjoy your summer with your beautiful family
If you built a master bedroom, nursery/office and laundry off the kitchen... could you split your bedroom and mirror the other side of the hall? 4 kid bedrooms 😊
My idea as well. Although it could be on the other side of the house which would be great as the kids get older... Today with the better monitors, keeping an eye on kids is easy. It would be nice to do a new master and another room which could serve so many purposes - craft/exercise/guest. Patio access. Bath with all the upgrades/spa-like.
I think the boys will be fine sharing a room ... twins are like that! My sister and I were just 13 months difference in age and we shared a room thru high school also. You have an amazing home, you do have a lot you can do adding on. I love your home!
Emma is such a big girl now....helping to bring in the groceries! !! The boys are coming right along!! Wonderful family! My boys shared a room til they were 12 yrs old they each had their own style. One liked Egyptian stuff the other liked Lion King, then it went to Pokemon & area 51/aliens!!
our twin boys shared a room all through their childhood and they were fine with it. Once they were going into jr high school they then had/wanted their own rooms which was the perfect time for us/them.
I thought we were the same people after IVF, military, twins plus a singleton, our names (Kind of), our birthday, TH-cam, .... but now I'm CONVINCED we're the same person with the add on vs. move convo.
You said it yourself, the perfect solution! Add a laundry room with a 1/2 bath and then the master and master bath, keeping all the plumbing close to the kitchen then you have the back 3 bedrooms for the kiddos. And if you wanted a guest room add it next to the laundry room and make that a full bath for guests!
I am a twin,my sister and I always shared a room,When we were in our teens,I wanted my own space. It was not until we were in college, we moved and had separate rooms. The kicker was we stayed together in her room. Twins can be very close we still are! We talk to each other at least an hour or more everyday.
Replace the tree out the front with a low growing shrub, not a climber as that will compromise the structural integrity of the house. something that has foliage covering most of the plant. Something like a small maple would look nice
Build addition.. hear me out.. Make your master the twins' bedroom. Your addition can be your dream master bedroom + bathroom + laundry area. The additional room could be used as the office [keep current kiddos + future baby all in the kid wing] OR as a baby nursery if you want to keep baby nearby and in the quiet wing of the house lol.
I think y'all should keep that beautiful place and add on to your house! As far as the front yard goes... Ride-on toys, scooters, and so on, are going to be a big thing for your kiddos before you know it. And you might want to keep that front yard as a safe area for all of that.. with as much of it paved as possible.
You’re gonna be very thankful to have the few bedrooms farther away when the kids are teenagers. Different personalities do better close to mom and dad while others thrive having their own space. Also a good way to separate a loud side of the house for older kids, and a quiet side for napping younger kids.
I am a triplet and me and my sisters wanted our own room when we turned 11, my parents had an extension and we got our own room then. It saved a lot of fighting as we were going into purperty 😆
My twin boys shared a bedroom (and wanted to) until they were in their teens. Once they hit 13, about, they were ready to have their own space. I love how the boys are toddling around. That's seriously my favorite age, even though they get quick and you need to stay on them to make sure they don't get in to anything! lol Emma is blossoming SO MUCH.. and talking so much. That girl is growing up fast, especially now that she's a big sister.
This hairstyle gives me anxiety LOL. every time you wear it I get itchy bc without fail every time I wear my hair in a loose bun I think there’s a spider somewhere either on my arm, neck, or face 🤣 there’s always a little piece of hair poking out and giving me a heart attack.
Haha. I always think the same thing when she wears it loose. It gives me bad anxiety to wear my hair loose because theres always little pieces touching my face. I think she thinks it's cute on her, but it just looks lazy. And I don't ever say that because I know I'll get attacked. I don't mean it to be rude. I'm all about easy hairstyles because I also have kids and understand having less time for ourselves.
in my opinion, i think the best option would be to expand up😊 a jack and jill style bedroom and bath upstairs, and maybe even a playroom/office upstairs. u can turn the current playroom into another living room🥰 at the end of the day it’s ur house so it’s ur choice
I hope you keep this house. The land is just amazing and there is sooo much. If you can, eventually, build an add-on, your property value will increase enormously. I just love the boys. They are such happy chappies.
Add on a master bedroom and keep your room as your moms guest room, and put Emma in the other new room, new baby could go in smaller room, give twins the bigger room. plus add on kitchen, put a "charging station" and wire house for surround sound stuff like that. Maybe also tuck in laundry room a built in desk for bills and computer work. So every mess is tucked away in laundry room. Maybe add 2 washer and dryer outlets with expanding family.
I vote for an add on & poolz just invest in this amazing large property. The pool will add years of endless fun and you can even put it towards the back of your land, your house is so pretty. Really an amazing find and still so happy for you guys.
I am a twin myself but the difference is I am a girl and I have a twin brother. But what my mom did is I shared a room with my brother until 2nd grade and then the old office space downstairs. I didn’t fully stay in there till around 5th grade because i liked being in my brothers room cuz of the bunk bed haha. But I definitely like having my own room but I think you have time. I honestly was appreciative of my own room when I got to middle school:) hope this helps and I love you’re vids❤️❤️
I know in Texas it was a law stating that boys and girls had to have separate rooms by the age of 6 or 7. California is the same. Luckily she doesn't have that issue. Lol.
Is it a 3 bedroom house now? We have a 3 bedroom 2 bath bungalow in Orlando with 4 kids and we love it! We did end up expanding the home, but didn’t add bedrooms. We felt that the bedrooms are really just used for sleeping and our larger living area was more useful.
Ooh, I'm totally drooling over that Cricut maker right now. I crochet and I like craft projects, so I'm thinking about all of the things I could make with it (felt/ fabric appliques for my crochet items would be super cute). I'm sure I'll get myself one at some point or maybe ask for it as a gift.
My twins shared a room until one got married!! They are absolute BEST friends and though one son has been married for 2.5 years now, they spend as much time together as possible. I miss hearing them in their room chatting before sleep. When we gave them separate rooms at about 7 years old, they put them back together within the month.
I'm an identical twin. My twin sister and I shared a room until we were 17! I was so excited to move downstairs to my older sister's room, when she moved out. My twin and I were pretty inseparable, but the late teen years...we definitely were ready to have our own space!
I hope you get to extend on your house. It’s absolutely stunning and the backyard is incredible! With adding on and completing your backyard you will increase the value of your home exponentially!!! Stay.
My sisters are 11 and 7 and they love sharing a room, they do fight over the mess but they never want the have there own rooms. My 3 brothers are 9, 4 and 1 and they all share a room, they love it cos its always like a sleepover. My other 2 brothers shared a room from when the youngest was 2 and the oldest was 6 and they shared until the oldest moved out at 18 and they loved sharing a room they always would fight about chargers, telly and stuff like that. I shared a room with my oldest sister and she is 6 years older then me, we shared from when she was 8 and I was 2 and we shared until she was 23 when she moved to America (we are from the uk) but she was always was there from thursday till monday so I did have space but it was always fun to share cos its like a sleepover with your bestfriend (we were close) its different for other people. It can we fun but it can be very difficult. (5 kids live with my step mum & dad... 4 kids live with my mum, not any more tho only 1 lives there now)
My vote: a two storey extension from the kitchen wall (inc. over garage) to fence & into yard as large as money/planning allows. You wouldn’t need to move out then & you would gain so much space. You could always build up at the current bedroom end or full length at a later date.
Girl if you ever need help with the maker cause I’ve had mine for a long time and I have the air 2 as well. Don’t go buying Cricut products cause you can get off brand things cheap on Amazon
Your house is beautiful and I hope you don't move. You would have to start from scratch on a mortgage again. I can see you adding to the house and making some really great upgrades that you would love - maybe have a designer suggest some things along your taste (although you do decorate like a designer, lol..) Your lot is beautiful and would be great once your kids are old enough to have a POOL!!! and maybe a sports area!!! The hillside seems a pain now, but imagine it built up with rock, etc., and having a waterfall slide winding it's way into a pool!!! Plant palms and make it look like a resort. If you could split your master into 2 rooms, you could add a master suite at the other side of the house offering you privacy as the kids get older. SO many options. Of course, only you two know what you need. Personally, I have regretted moving a few times and wished I had just made my past home my dream home. Talk with a Realtor about your plans if you stay and do it right. Make your house worth more than the cost of the upgrades/remodel. Win/win!! God bless!!!
I would meet with a couple architects, then with a few contractors. I think your best bet would be adding to your ranch style home(from your bedroom and living room) and building out into your backyard. You could likely still have a .5 acre yard, which is a sufficient size. You could add 2 more bedrooms, a bathroom, and a laundry room.
Most stores have similar items to these in the office supply area, you could also check out Office Depot or Office Max. Also, your local Walmart may surprise you!
Don't sell the house, the yard is amazing! Your kids are going to love the huge garden growing up! Just think about all the possibilities, you can have a vegetable patch and small playground and a pool and even a small "forst" in one of the corners (something for the kids to camp in) without it ever looking over-crowded. You could even have chickens if you wanted to! I don't know how long it would take to build up but personally, I love 2-story houses because you get so much space without losing any yard space.
Why don’t you build on a master suite with office on the kitchen side and make your bedroom one for kiddos. When they are teenagers you will be happy to have your own end of the house!!!
I love your guys house and definitely wouldn’t know what to do with that beautiful flat yard but you guys do what makes you happen :) and what makes your family comfortable their is nothing like a comfortable home love your guys channel
Another thing you might want with a playground set is a square tent/ umbrella to cover the playground and sand pit. So the playground set doesn't have the sun beating down it and plus the birds flying by will miss the poop bombs a little less. Plus you will need a cover for the sand box
Stay and expand. Your property is amazing. I grew up 1 bedroom, 3 kids, parents, 1 bathroom in a nice apartment - we had a great childhood, shared with my older sister til I got married at 23, no problems sharing though we were 9 years apart and she never married. (We used a hideaway bed in living room, and a twin bed in dining room)I had a friend whose family had a regular style house that held 8 kids (2 sets of identical twins), grandparents lived with them, 1 bathroom, 4 bedrooms - they did fine too. Houses and apartments were smaller, it was the same for everyone.
Omg land here is INSANE!! My fiancé and I just dropped 1 mil for 14 acres in Ramona. Simply because it was THE only area in all of SoCal with any decent amount of land. You already have the land, I think you should add on!! If you DO want to move, now IS the time to sell your house 100%, most houses don’t even last a week on Zillow. Most not even that long. The market here is BONKERS.
I definitely think you should add on to your house, if you love your home, then you should make it work for you guys! I love your house, and it should definitely be your forever home.
I don think that y’all should move at all,Just add on to what is already there! This house is so perfect for your family!! & ok Rueben & Asher are getting so fast w/their walking it is crazy!! & ok I know I’ve said this a million times about Emma (& it’s STILL true by all means ) but the boys smiles are infectious!! 💜💜 My face hurts from smiling especially bc of how big of a good helper Emma is wanting to be helping u get thing out of the car! lol
I can’t believe the boys will be one next month! They’re my birthday buddies. 🥰 I think you should add on instead of moving. You have such a beautiful house and lots of backyard to expand into and you guys seem to like the neighborhood.
I'm a twin! and ended up sharing a bathroom with my younger sister! she and I are so close and we shared a jack and jill style bathroom :) My twin, however, had her own room and it all worked out and we all kind of liked it that way :D
If I were to build onto your home as if it was mine. Of which I have done in a home of mine and it was a lot lol. But I would build out like you said and how you said, but I would make that your master suite and a master bathroom and the laundry room. On the side where you bedroom currently is, I’d build that out some too!! Id make another bedroom off your room (even taking a little space from that room so all “kids rooms” are about the same size) and this way the current master bathroom would then transform into the jack n jill bathroom you are wanting and add a hall way somewhere to access that second bedroom (a contractor can have that drawn all that up to make it come together on paper for you and to approve the permits and all that jazz) but that way all your kids bedrooms are on the same side of the home and you have your own area away from all the kids but still all on the same level. It will really help the layout for resale value vs having rooms just slapped anywhere all around your home. It will look like an add on home just putting rooms on two sides of the house but a master on the wrong side mixed with kids rooms, nothing will make sense and your home would be worthless just slapping bedrooms anywhere. You have to follow the standard lol. It’s very common to have kids rooms on one side and the grand master on the other side of the home with the master bathroom. Just my opinion on it. I hope this makes sense lol. Adding onto the home is VERY expensive. When you get the quote and ruff plans expected, I’d go to a realtor and have them walk the home and look at those plans! Have him/her tell you the current worth, then what it’s worth right now if you had the house as in the drawn plans. How much more does this add on. Is it worth it to have your life in complete shambles for 4 months for that value or is it better to move on. That’s my deciding factor for me and my family with kids.. cuz that life is HARD with kids!!
Absolutely do not move. That house is a dream and your yard is incredible. Newer houses just don't have the land that you guys have. You are so blessed to have such a nice yard!
I think since you have the land you should add on instead of moving. This should be your forever home. One story houses rock!
that's so true!!!
I dont agree with this. Adding on to a home can be a lot more expensive than buying a whole new home. Their family is still young, this does not have to be their forever home.
instaBlaster.
Stay in that house! You’ll be thankful for the extra yard space as they grow. I’d put a small room off the new master that could be the nursery for the next baby and once he/she moves to the other side, then you can make it an office.

Every time I watch your videos, that smile of Reuben's in the intro gets me every time!!! Your children are so adorable!!

Watching your baby boys play takes me back 26 years or so to my twin boys. It makes my heart happy😃

Emma was such a sweet little helper at the end!
Asher walking is too funny and cute! He is such an early walker!
I think they always look funny when you think physically he should not be able to but he does. It’s crazy
awe Emma "don't fall mommy" so sweet
I couldn’t stop replaying that. Her little voice and the way she says “fall” 🥰
Emma is so adorable! The twins are growing up so fast.

To high school....you're going to need a bigger box!
I recommend mulch or something other then sand! If you have stray animals they will go to the bathroom in them! (For the playset)
We used to have this big green turtle we used to keep our sand in. It worked pretty well unless we had really strong winds.
Ya, i had one for my son with a lid that was on legs. Cats still pooped and peed in it.
@@jessicagillette468 haha same

Holy crap I haven’t watched your videos since the twins were 6 months old or so and Emma’s speech is getting so good!
Emma’s ‘your welcome’ is always the cutest ever. You’re such a good mum😊
I also have a twin brother and we shared until we were 6 years old x
The chicken pot pie sequence made me actually laugh out loud, I’m not sure why
My twins shared a room until one got married!! They are absolute BEST friends and though one son has been married for 2.5 years now, they spend as much time together as possible. I miss hearing them in their room chatting before sleep. When we gave them separate rooms at about 7 years old, they put them back together within the month.
I'm an identical twin. My twin sister and I shared a room until we were 17! I was so excited to move downstairs to my older sister's room, when she moved out. My twin and I were pretty inseparable, but the late teen years...we definitely were ready to have our own space!
Bo running by the camera at 4:13 killed me 😂😂😂🤣🤣
I hope you get to extend on your house.
4 kids live with my mum, not any more tho only 1 lives there now)
Emma’s has such a sweet personality, 🌸and those babies, sooooo cute..💙
I loved it when Emma said your welcome.
I have that same exact cricut, and I love it! I make stencils for cookie decorating, and customize my laptop with it!
Reuben has the most dreamiest eyes. He's going to be a Heartbreakers for sure.
I've been wanting to do that for my son and I wonder where to get thencontainer and the folders like this
Most stores have similar items to these in the office supply area, you could also check out Office Depot or Office Max. Also, your local Walmart may surprise you!
Local Walmart in a small town dont have alotnwhere I am
Okay I love the box you made Emma! !
FYI if you purchased your home with a VA loan you will not be able to rent, unless paid off. VA requires only owners to occupy
That was so sweet Emma making the sound like BoBo.
Pretty soon both boys will be walking. Emma is a good helper
"She got her!" What a great moment. 😂
I love my Cricut Maker!! I have recently gotten back into using it, and am becoming obsessed all over again!
The chicken pot pie is totally good love them ❤️🇨🇦
Omg land here is INSANE!!
Your family is so adorable 🤣
I love this family so much!!!
💜💜 My face hurts from smiling especially bc of how big of a good helper Emma is wanting to be helping u get thing out of the car! lol
I also have a cricut and I find that the paper studio vinyl works better then cricut vinyl! Definitely try it! Welcome to the cricut group!
I can’t believe the boys will be one next month! They’re my birthday buddies. 🥰 I think you should add on instead of moving. You have such a beautiful house and lots of backyard to expand into and you guys seem to like the neighborhood.
Are you making any bins for the boys?
Lots of plans and 💡 running in your mind lol. The boys are growing so quick now xx
Love ya’lls family and love watching your journey in this thing we call life💙💖💖
Amazing how much Emma is growing and changing. Not so baby anymore 🥰🥰🥰
You need to purchase Jennifer makers cricut coach ebook it’s AMAZING!
I'm a twin! and ended up sharing a bathroom with my younger sister! she and I are so close and we shared a jack and jill style bathroom :) My twin, however, had her own room and it all worked out and we all kind of liked it that way :D
I thought you guys were gonna go to Disney in February
You probably already know but that CPP is amazing 😁
Welcome to the Cricut family! Tee shirts for all of you!
I love your home! You have so much beautiful land I believe it's worth just expanding on your home.
Is there room to expand where the current bedrooms are?
Large beautiful space! Have you guys thought of gardening?
I am a twin and we shared a bedroom the whole time growing up. We are very close as well.
My daughter and I love our Cricut!!!
