You only have to look at the timeline to see this is a scam. He leaves the property at 8am hanging around and asks the cafe owner twice for bus time. She is then in her car and sees him again at 8.15am walking quickly towards the park. That only leaves 15 mins for him to get to the park, hurt himself, become dehydrated and unaware of his surroundings before he makes that call to Lucy and 30 mins all in from leaving the property. He's not missing. He went to the park to make the call, left and was picked up on the road. He would have been barely in the park when he made the call.
At last someone says it as it very well probably is. This story has really highlighted to me the restraints on legacy media. Not once do any of the msm channels report his past criminal behaviour, because supposedly its not relevant but im fed up with others deciding whats relevant for me to know.

What I am not understanding re the massive search is how far can someone walk in that terrain in the given time limit? May I add in shorts and t-shirt minus water. Also must have a better phone signal than I get in the deepest darkest Scottish Borders. No way would I be able to contact anyone with 1% battery. What is going on here?

It is plausible. 1% battery left could probably get someone a few minutes on a phone call. It maybe that he several percent left, but then drained to 1% when on the phone. We don't know the exact details.

I've been to Masca several times, as I have a home nearby. The road into and out of Masca is certainly accessible, even by buses and coaches. If Jay had stayed on the road, he could have easily hitched a lift. Going off-piste is extremely dangerous, especially on one's own.

The mountain rescue team are professionals, more so than police, but in Spain, the police are also familiar and well aware of the terrain. Many people don't usually go into that area without a guide. Jay may have been disoriented. I can't imagine why he would go into that terrain, unless he saw a village below, and thought he could walk down the terrain on foot.

Another weird thing just surfaced about this is there’s a 4th person on holiday with them called Hodgey as well as Lucy and Brad who’s never been mentioned or said anything and never shown and he’s the one blurred out in the Snapchat pic of Jay with a straw hat on in a shop and they’re both wearing the same clothes in the video at the rave

Reported missing at 9am....nobody reports their friends missing that soon after last being seen or heard from on holidays. Especially after a night out...in Tenerife. Especially after a festival in Tenerife.
Even if he went off track it would've been bright. There's a main road that goes the whole way through that area so even if Jay was rambling through the brush he'd definitely be able to spot cars and busses traveling along that road and make his way back to it, and more than likely hitch his way back south.
The whole thing stinks.

I'll describe the heat... i left the night before he went missing and when i was at siam park it was like the floor was lava running to shadows to stop my feet burning... Then when having to wait for the bus in an open area i was so greatfull for a tree as i was burning fast so definitely really hot during the day and jay was thirsty before 9 am.... To last the rest of the day in that heat with no water i can only imagine suffering

I have driven around that area a few years ago. As you can see, the roads are well maintained. Had Jay remained on the main road, he would have been seen. The main road is safer than trying to find a short cut into town.

Has anyone watched this video before it was uploaded? You have put a huge old fashioned microphone in front of the camera to block the view of the face of the presenter. Some people lipread and covering the lens to block his face is quite strange.
There are lots of videos for beginners on youtube about how to film and how not to cover the camera lens and block the view. There are some about audio production too, those big old microphones from the 1960s are not the thing to use now. Use a PZT or small clip on electret condenser mic and it will not only be unobtrusive, but will give a much better audio quality.
That must be a very old studio.
Why are they not checking mobile signal pings in that area on that night so they can trace who else was in the area?
