I just ended up here because I'm considering buying this die for a friend's brithday, and wow! This video was engaging and fun through and through, and that guy Theo is a delight. The review was super helpful and I might just check out more of this channel! Thank you!
Very much appreciate how thorough your review was with these dice. At first they seem pretty awesome, but by the end of the video, they just seem pretty gimmicky and a lot more trouble than they're worth. Maybe if I was one of those kinesthetic people who really loves the feel of die rolling could I find a use for these in online play. But if you're not one of those people, the use case for these dice seems pretty nonexistent.
Glad to be helpful! I think some folks will be very excited by these, but it may be pretty niche, at least for now. I’m glad they exist and that they’re continuing to improve them though. The hardware seems to be there. Just need to keep enhancing the integration.
I know this is an old comment, but there are plenty of tables that mix digital and physical play. How about this? DM sets up the maps and character tokens on a VTT, but everyone plays with physical dice and sheets. With the Bluetooth dice you can request a roll, player rolls the physical dice and with VTT automation all bonuses are calculated and applied, and the target of the attack takes the damage automatically with auto calculation of resistances and such. I am currently attempting a highly experimental setup where my players are together in a room and I DM remotely. (They live in a different country and we miss playing together so that was the solution) It would be pretty great for my situation
Thanks again for another great video, sorry we havnt been around. Travs condition has drastically changed. We are both ok just alot to learn and grow from.
I can’t agree more with your comment on cheating. Maybe it’s because I’m 50. If you are worried about cheaters in your game you need new friends/players.
For me the pricing felt about right, especially considering it's coming from a smaller company and not, like, Logitech that can afford to make a million of them. -Theo

Oh no. It’s good to hear from you. Sending you two lots of love!! Stay strong and lean on those who are ready to support y’all. ❤️
These are pretty cool, but I don't play virtually any more, so the price point is not worth it to me... But it's not bad at all for what it is.

How do i make it flash with a nat 20
It should do it automatically as long as it’s connected via Bluetooth to one of your devices.
@@TheGallantGoblin thank you so much for the response :)
How easy is it to cheat and just plant the 20 every time you need a crit?...
I mean, if people are cheating at D&D they really need to examine their lives.
Hello
Interesting dice
A little pricey though

@@TheGallantGoblin I meant for me to buy them. I’m cheap.
