Hi. I have this machine and am trying to record my old VHS onto DVD. Another video I watched about this said it will play from the machine like you're here, but it won't play on a DVD player until you finalize the DVD. From setup menu, edit disk, finalize. Then it will play on any DVD player. The way you did it, it will only play on your machine. But I have a question: Do you initialize the DVD before you record on it? I see that as an option in the setup menu, but it's not selectable. I tried recording to a DVD, took it out and put it in my computer and it is blank. Help!
What File format does the Go Video combo machine use to burn to DVD? I have a DVD that my friend burned on his Go Video machine but when I put in in my XBox or even my DVD drive on my computer there is no file showing. When my friend put it back n his Go Video deck it played fine.
It might be you need to finalize the burn using the remote. Many of these machines leave the DVD's open so you can add more video later, so in order for the DVD to be recognized by other DVD plays the recordings need to be closed, or finalized.
Does this DVD player, or any of the ones you own, have a dolphin screensaver? If you do, please let me know! One of my friends is looking for it, for nostalgia purposes.

I worked at Sam’s Club in the 1990’s and I can remember some unit that had a screen saver like that, but I can’t remember the brand.
