- There is no doubt Florence Andenyi is one of the most successful gospel artists in Kenya. Her song Kibali raking over 11 Million views on TH-cam alone. This young woman went from living in Kibera to owning her own mansion in one of the best estates in Nairobi.
Today her life is all bliss but she says she did not make it alone. Giving credit to God, her supporters and her husband who believed in her dream from the word go and shot her most successful videos. He saw her value when she had nothing and when Florence became successful, she did not dump him but instead said" I do"
She encourages women to be submissive to their husbands and be hopeful in their marriages.

I was a toilet cleaner, after my undergraduate studies in one of the companies along Mombasa road, Doshi Water. Each time leaving work on foot to Mlolongo I could plug earphones to sing this song "kibali" as I walked back to my small mabati house in mlolongo. Hatimaye Mungu alinipa Kibali. I got a job elsewhere in some office na bado nazidi kushukuru.

Her song kibali made me give my life to Christ 🤗..I remember being emotionally unstable at the time and I really begged God for peace of mind..I put the song on repeat the whole night..it was a Saturday and the next morning I went to Church, during prayers the pastor randomly chose me without even me saying that I wanted to give my life to God,and asked me to surrender to God, I broke down in church that day,long story short,my life has never been the same again..🙌..God is love,God is peace.🤗

Beautiful story Lynn, haki the show has blessed me. It has reminded me of days I used to cry to God going on 3 days dry fast not even water till the mouth becomes sore. Very painful fast, that weakens the body extremely. Some days I was sleeping outside but today I see the faithfulness of God niko kwa nyumba yangu with a husband who loves me and beautiful children. Nashukuru Mungu. Bitter, sweet memories.

The husband Sos P was my classmate in High Sch. a close friend, when he used to rap secular genge songs i would do gospel songs... we even did "mazingira ni machafu" song as Wildlife Club members....after years we met only to tell me he was saved... I was so happy!!! Whereas he chose the path of music i chose to go for further studies...

Katoloni is a famous place. It used to be closer than home to me when I was going through my crisis in life. Most of my prayers have been answered. A place I have fond memories.

It is in Machakos. In a place called Katoloni. It is a prayer center. You sleep in dormitories. One for men and another for women. You take Matatus to Machakos Town. You can alight at the junction, or, go get a mat from Machakos town to Katoloni. It used to be green all year round. There is also a Bible school in the compound. This was many years ago. Probably it has changed but those are the sweet memories I have of the place. It is a fasting center. You only get hot water.

Her song Kibali used to inspire me alot, I used to hustle in Nakuru earning 5k per month, I remember I could walk all the way from Nakuru town to Kiamunyeki(Tumsifu Centre) for 1hr just because I couldn't afford matatu fare.ilikuwa shida Sana,on my way I used to keep listening to this song Kibali chako,and certain Tanzanian song called "Uko wapi".Life was tough but Thankfully God gave me a better Job.🙏
