I have had Chanel No5 in my collection for over 40yrs I repurchase each time it runs low, I always get compliments on it, it’s sits with my other favourites B/R540, Tom ford Noir d Noir, Armani malachite, Oud of nawab, Euphoria, Sisley eau soir, Gucci absolute, Versace crystal noir and some fragrance oils in my drawer.
I love fragrancenet and they are definitely legit. I have placed too many orders to count with them. It's odd that your bottle is missing the G like that and it made me look at mine to make sure it's not like that and it isn't. I wasn't sure you'd like the fragrance because as you said you have a lot of heavy hitters but I'm glad you do because I love it! Florabotanica is another love of mine but I had to get the big bottle because something about the small one is weird to me lol.
FragranceX is my go-to...fragrancenet is followed right after. I sometimes get my niche from luckyscent, i can always choose a few samples with my purchase.

Fenix Lazzaroni no problems as of yet and their shipping is awesome! FragranceNet I had 2 issues with, 1 they fixed the other one didn’t, but I still order from them because of their prices! I see whose is cheaper if it’s only a couple of dollars difference I will go with fragrancex just for shipping
I feel you! I live near NYC and went perfume sniffing at Saks and it was so unenjoyable lol. I had a sales associate assist me the entire time sampling and I just can't shop like that. I need to sniff and reflect but they just wanna talk to you and coax you to buy. I rarely buy fragrances on the first sniff I have too many and I need to test them for a bit to make sure I love it.
I know!!!!! I got the same vibe. My fragrance experience has changed and it’s not the same. Right now I’m watching my favorite TH-cam channel for my future purchases. I have some amazing SA’s that keep me stocked up with samples.
If it's available on fragrancenet, that's where I get it. Especially with that 35% off code, it's often the best deal around. You would be surprised what's sometimes available on that site, I'm sometimes surprised by it! My most recent purchase was Guerlain Lui and it was in perfect condition, which is typical to my experience. I'm sorry your bottle came imperfect, but that's not actually typical. They have decent customer service so you might be able to return it even though you've opened it.

I totally feel you on the Chanel!! I love Chanel and I bought Chanel No 5 just for GP! I wasn’t loving it initially but I have grown to love it! It’s very classic clean. I wear it to bed at times. I have the EDT tho. After researching they say the EDT is closest to the original No 5.
I totally agree with you. I wasn't loving at first but I got a sample from Chanel. Girl but the dry down was sexy and sensual powdery. So I see why you wear it to bed.
I love fragrancenet...... all the fragrances I have bought on there I been authentic. But wow for D & G #3 received mine from them as well but my lettering was not faded or slanted ..

Great review Cheraye! I love ordering from Fragrancenet and they have great customer service if an item isn't right, they're quick to replace or take back items. Congrats on the No5, here's a quick tip, at least for me, spray it from very far away so you basically just get coated in a cloud (don't let it pool or concentrate in one are), it tames it, smooths it out and makes it a powdery luxurious fragrance. It's such a strange animal, how you dose it changes it completely. Also such a great relaxing bedtime fragrance.
I don't like the way things go in stores either... I want to go but if I can't touch anything wear mask it's pointless 😕 And in fact the closest formula to original Chanel No 5 is not the edp but the edt.. 😉👌

I have used Fragrancenet for about 15 years and I loooove them. they have great customer service, if you contact them about your L'imperatrice they will probably send you a new bottle without the letter missing. I also just bought this fragrance from them a month or so ago, and mine was perfect bottle and a great price.
I have bought some fragrances from fragrancenet that I had to return because the scent was off!! I won’t be ordering anything from them anymore. They’re schetchy! You should return that D@G perfume. Hope you’re well! Enjoying your vibe as always!
fragrancenet is legit in my experience. i actually had a surprise - i ordered a 1 oz of Elie Saab (alone) and when it arrived it was a gift box with lotion and shower gel. i also bought D&G 3 and it was fine
This happened to me with a Florabotanica. I purchased the 1.7o and when it arrived it was the gift box! I was super happy. I’ve spent so much money shopping with them.
I love Fragrancenet! The best prices and they always offer deals and shipping for free. That's really strange with the D&G bottle...? Everything I've received was well wrapped, in the boxes - and expedient shipping. I just got the cute little bottle of Hermes Twilly...not sure yet, it's got to grow on me.
Yes, I have ordered from Fragrancenet with no problems at all but I have only been with them about 3-4 months. Cheraye, FN does have legit perfumes, but they will also get "Seconds". All discounters do. It's where the packaging (box) or actual Bottle may have had a slight misprint or imperfect detail. Many do not know it, but that's how TJ Maxx, Marshall's, etc get things sometimes. Not always. Sometimes it is so minor, no one would even notice. It could be a slight hair off center.
PS, also, the alcohol & hand sanitizers many have on their hands can affect print or stickers. I shipped something the other day that I had to take back home & redo the address on the package, once I got to the PO, b/c the sanitizer on my hands wiped it out!
That right 2.5. You cannot be a Chanel lover or collector without having the scent that started it all! :) Yes, I do own Chanel No. 5. I have purchased from FragranceNet and have not had any issues. Of course I did my research to make sure they were legit. Stay safe stay well.

I have never tried fragrancenet, but I have tried fragrancex and giftexpress, and they were both amazing! I go to ulta, sniff things, then other them online.
Something similar happened to my bottle of initio aphrodisiac, the rubber film was bubbling around the nozzle and I ended up peeling it. I think it was from traveling in the heat. My bottle was really hot when I opened my package.
Maybe that's what happened to me, it smells exactly like my sample. I'm going to keep it, I hate returning and exchanging things smh 🤦🏾 thanks for sharing doll 😘

I bought a Chanel perfume in the duty free at an airport. Legit shop but when I opened it, the lettering on the bottle was gone. It does happen with big companies. Quality control sometimes is overlooked.

fragrancenet is legit in my experience. i actually had a surprise - i ordered a 1 oz of Elie Saab (alone) and when it arrived it was a gift box with lotion and shower gel. i also bought D&G 3 and it was fine

I love Fragrancenet! The best prices and they always offer deals and shipping for free. That's really strange with the D&G bottle...? Everything I've received was well wrapped, in the boxes - and expedient shipping. I just got the cute little bottle of Hermes Twilly...not sure yet, it's got to grow on me.

Yes, I have ordered from Fragrancenet with no problems at all but I have only been with them about 3-4 months. I own quite a few Chanel fragrances (not through Fragrancenet)...#5, Jersey, Allure Sensualle, Cristalle Eau Verte, Chance, Chance Eau Vive, #19 Poudre, Coco Mad, Coco Noir, the original Coco, Bois Des Iles and #22.

Cheraye, FN does have legit perfumes, but they will also get "Seconds". All discounters do. It's where the packaging (box) or actual Bottle may have had a slight misprint or imperfect detail. Many do not know it, but that's how TJ Maxx, Marshall's, etc get things sometimes. Not always. Sometimes it is so minor, no one would even notice. It could be a slight hair off center.
PS, also, the alcohol & hand sanitizers many have on their hands can affect print or stickers. I shipped something the other day that I had to take back home & redo the address on the package, once I got to the PO, b/c the sanitizer on my hands wiped it out!

Something similar happened to my bottle of initio aphrodisiac, the rubber film was bubbling around the nozzle and I ended up peeling it. I think it was from traveling in the heat. My bottle was really hot when I opened my package.

I bought a Chanel perfume in the duty free at an airport. Legit shop but when I opened it, the lettering on the bottle was gone. It does happen with big companies. Quality control sometimes is overlooked.
