Sad to say the cosplaying community is an extremely insular and petty community who are hellbent on bringing newbies and people who arent part of their inner circle down. 10 years ago the original generation were open and welcoming, doing it for fun. The current newgen only care about monetization and clicks and see anyone else apart from them as a threat. What a shame.
