making him go back to the headington rondabout with no working traffic lights was a bit harsh lol.
For the reverse parking (where he got a serious fault -14:42) had he stopped his manoeuver, the car behind still wouldn’t have had the space to drive through. How can that be managed please?
Should he have aborted the manoeuver and proceed?
Pause the manoeuvre, check the vehicle behind. If it can’t get by it can wait, once it starts moving past you stop again as if you’re reversing and hit them it’s your fault but if you’re stationary and they hit you it’s their fault.
Why did he get a fault for signalling left on the mini roundabout at the very start? Don’t you need to show which exit you are taking?
Not on a mini roundabout, regular roundabout yes but not required on the mini roundabout
Just signal in the direction that you’re going and then cancel the signal when you come off
@@BRMdrivingschool Yes, the difference between a mini roundabout and a roundabout is that at the former drivers can see which exit you are intending to use as they can all see everyone's signal as they approach. Typically because they are observing across a painted spot on the road.

a question on stop start, If you stall the car, then apply the hand brake and dip the clutch to get the car into neutral, the stop start will re start the car automatically, is this ok? There have been times when my daughter has stalled, immediately dipped the clutch with foot on brake and the car has restarted I am guessing this would be a serious fault?
the instructor is checking for traffic a lot at junctions - rather than watching the student
Is that not a part of your standard check to be aware of your surroundings? I and if you notice I only move my head after I’ve seen that he’s moved his head
