I can say with a lot of confidence that the practical effects on this movie go HARD. They look so good and look like they were ripped right of the game. Bravo to the crew.
I feel that Foxy really likes hugs, but couldn't do it due to his hook and animatronic stature, therefore has to look aggressive to be sure they won't do it just for their safety.

@@Cam_Reebas a OG fan and avid horror movie junkie, i gotta say @faweriiin ‘s comment is one i agree with. The film although detail was nice is not what makes it a horror movie. Blumhouse is known to be one of the top dogs in the horror movie world so for them to release this, to OG fans like myself or even horror movie fans this was laughable, dissappointing and let down. Yes the lore does differ SLIGHTLY in the games and books by adding missing pieces from the games into the books, still keeping track of the timeline. The amount of articulation is astounding! I only say this because the wearable suits were different in the bts footage I saw, they had bigger gaps in the shell and space under the head for the actor to see out of

It’s amazing how a company could actually build such advanced animatronics just a for a movie, and it’s also surprising how they are actually functioning and moving
The eyes and mouth are robotic, the other parts were controlled by actors, Foxy was the only one who was fully robotic (which is why hr didn't get a hug) because he's too skinny, however, the ones seen later are all robotic, they made separate versions

They need to make a real pizzeria with these animatronics for entertainment. It's so cool that the machines can be interacted with and talked to, and the machines respond. It's like they are real, living beings. The team did a FANTASTIC job. Great work, and tell the Freddy gang I said hi!
These are humans in costumes with remote controlled heads, there are remote controlled robots but they show up less often than the costumes due to overheating issues and them not being able to walk.
I can actually understand why Foxy “refused” the hug. Foxy, by design, has so many robotic parts exposed, it could be a genuine safety hazard. I’m sure the puppeteer was trying to protect Dawko.
Wow that section of them meeting the animatronics was incredible to watch. Seeing how accurate they look and how expressive they can be, enough to make it feel like they weren't just made for the movie but for an actual funtion within a real establishment is astounding. For the Crane thing on Foxys back that is a rig, they're usually used for small stop motion puppets to keep them upright for a shot. As for Foxy he's high maintenance animatronic, and if he falls off that could be catastrophic for mechanisms inside. So the rig is to ensure that hopefully foxy never falls over because the problems that follow that could be complicated and pricey to repir. That's probably why he didn't want to be hugged 😅

Some random guy would kill multiple kids to recreate the events
I’ll gladly volunteer to be kidnapped and stuffed if they made it a real pizzeria😀👍🏽
@@toybonnie9329honestly tho I feel like if that were to happen it’d have already happened at like Chuck E. Cheese’s or showbiz pizza already. They could have it so you’re checked for any weapons like at an airport if they made a real Freddy fazbear’s
I love that the production team is letting people film the set. I imagine we won't be able to see many details in most of the rooms in the movie, so getting a behind the scenes is so cool!! Every room is so detailed and beautifully made. This makes me even more excited to see the movie opening night!
"Chica is the only happy looking one."
Chica 50% of the video: 😠
Seeing the animatronics being weirdly adorable just goes to show how important lighting and atmosphere was in the games
The animatronics are bare accurate with their personality- like some of them wanting a hug- but foxy don't want one and threatens you- the personality's perfectly match the animatronics from the games! Pretty sick
After 9 years… it has been such a blessing to have been able to watch this series grow into a family… fnaf never fails to put a smile on everyone’s face, it’s been and will continue to be a wild ride
The amount of awesome memories i have of this franchise in its early years makes me wanna cry...

9:06 foxy got jealous because he didn’t get a hug
This entire video had me smiling. Especially the part where all the animatronics were off the stage and everyone got to meet them. Their expressions and the way they reacted to stuff was so awesome to see. It's insane how expressive they are.
Man those animatronic suits are just incredible. I actually hope someone is thinking about the possibility of using them in a real life attraction. Set design is great too.
the perfect thing would be to have an actual freddy fazbear restaurant at universal studios or something - pizza bar by day, horror attraction at night
@@Envy_Maythey want to do something Like that after they finish the movies
@@Envy_Mayi would go to that the day its announced, can only imagine how many other people would be there though..
@@Envy_Mayhopefully no kids go missing
Agreed!
I honestly can't imagine the PRESSURE the crew has, since they have so many people watching with BIG expectations!
7:57 bro got flashbacks from 1945☠️
I can't get over how fluid the movement of the animatronics are, incredible! I'm so glad the Jim Henson company were involved in the making of this film.
That’s because they are controlled by people. Foxy is the only 100% robot. Rest are animatronic/puppets. So they move so fluid due to puppeteers
@@worldofootballfcThe ones hugging the people are mascot costumes with an articulated mascot head. This means that there are real people inside, just like the talking Mickey Mouse at Disneyland.
They are quite good at replicating animatronic movements though!
Only Foxy is a real animatronic, which is why he has a mechanical crane attached to him in order to keep him up right. This also explains why nobody got to hug him.
The people controlling the animatronics made Freddy look so dang emotional lol. Freddy being so expressive and sweet feels very in character even tho we don’t really know what his “character” is like too much
well we see in security breach that hes genuinely caring and a natural leader, but also a bit airheaded lol. i think they captured it perfectly
Also why does nobody mention their little palms it's so cute 😭
The fact these are actual animatronics as well as costumes is amazing
Imagine they were springlock suits
I hope they have spiked teeth hiding under the big white teeth and they pop out whenever they kill

Bonnie has no eyebrows, it makes him look so cute and expressionless, he look like he just want hugs
6:51 I can’t imagine how Scott felt when he saw what is essentially his magnum opus standing in front of him. These 4 animatronics literally changed his life, and now he gets to see them in their first movie.
That and also his spindly little legs would probably snap under his own weight
@@barozukos7791 Most likely 😅
I am getting weirdly emotional watching this... I just love how much effort was put into the animatronics, and the set designs... it looks exactly how I feel it should... This franchise that has become such a big part of my life in the past few years is gettin' a damn movie and it looks like they at the very least are going to make it look perfect!

Absolutely wonderful seeing the set and the animatronics! Truly impressed how well Freddy and the gang moved, and their expressions were priceless.
Also 100% would've hugged Foxy, he looked a little left out.
Lets appreciate for a moment how insanely good they nailed the expressions with the few possibilities they actually have.
They didn't hug Foxy because it could harm someone or damage Foxy, it's the only fully mechanical suit.
Just more hype to the flame that is our excitement for the FNAF Movie! Crazy that its only NEXT WEEK!
ur gonna make a map of the movie pizzeria right?
