He was a class captain for 9 years in his schools. And He studied very well when he was in third grade in middle school, and he was good at math and science, so his parents tried to send a high school of science to foster scientific talent. In the second grade of high school, only Jimin got a perfect grade in math in the whole second grade. In addition, teachers said that he is too talented in dancing. They thought that he'll be wasting his talent. So, they tried very hard to dissuade him from going to the entertainment industry. I'm Korean ^^
