He downright jumps, do a forward flip, then slashes before landing smoothly. Rather, all the animations are pretty fantastic. Aqua in particular looks quite gorgeous! ... You know... since enemies can now pair-up, can I just say how much I dread Lunatic now? Double Luna+ makes me piss my pants. It's also very interesting to note that there are now stances for paring up. Standing next to another unit is the "Dual Strike" of Awakening, while actually pairing up is more on the defensive side. It'll take a while to get used to, but I absolutely love that. And the Dragon's Veins mode? THAT LOOKS AWESOME. I'm literally screaming of my *veins* right now! Hahhar? *gets blown by scorching blast* Is that red-haired girl..... Severa? I don't know, she just reminds me of her a little too much. Interesting! Anyway, sorry for the huge bricks there. My hype cannot be controlled, same as my sword hand. It howls during the night, and craves to play -hunt-. Lastly, thank you once again for translating Rey. You are truly a nice person.

For those who want to know, that Ninja promotion shown was "Puppet Master" (SF called it Puppeteer, but I like Puppet Master better). It seems to be a more defense oriented class, its biggest promotion gains are in Strength and Defence, with only slight boosts to Skill and Speed. So it's possible Ninjas get a more "tank-like" option. Come to think of it... is this the first "mounted" class we've seen from Hoshido besides Pegasus Warrior? Because it looks like Hoshido doesn't have Cavaliers, so I'm wondering what their equivalent of land cavalry is. Could it be this?
I really have to admit it, people that do things like this are hard to find. Much better than having to read the translations in some other place only watching letters and missing the action, your translating is very appreciated.
It looks like the Yatogami either gets an upgrade or Kamui eventually gets a dope shadow sword. Either way, this game looks ridiculously good, mother FUCKER I am excited for this.
No. Apparently, it is absolutely certain that you were in Hoshido as a child. I'd say until 5 or 6 years old, because Hinoka says she never thought she'd see you again. So Kamui does have vague memories of his original family, but it's very clear that Ryouma and Hinoka never forgot you. I'm not sure if Takumi and Sakura were born yet.

Since 2013, I only ever Streetpassed ONE other Awakening player. It bothered me since we heard about needing to go abroad to other people's castles to reliably get other materials. Now I don't need to travel to really be able to use My Castle to its fullest. Presuming that the internet communications work more or less how I'd assume that they'd work.
I'm really interested in the changes to the pairing mechanics.... the fact the AI can take advantage of it now is going to make for some really interesting boss possibilities.
Even though I'll be starting with Hoshido so I can get used to the new mechanics and whatnot, I am so definitely aboard Nohr. I like the family there more for some reason. That, and changing the kingdom from within sounds awesome.
I wonder if the execution order comes before the choice, since you then find out that you're not Nor blood and you go onto the field to prove your loyalty. Having a king that just wanted you dead would be very reasonable to switch sides.

For now, all you need to know about them is that the character descriptions are very similar, and Luna's Japanese VA is the same as Severa's. As for Lucina... She doesn't need one due to the Amiibo and/or download code.

Steven Ventro It probably is coming back. It was an immensely popular feature in Awakening, and only four characters are directly related to you in the game.
Steven Ventro In other games, you could still "marry", but no kids would come out of it. It usually ends with "let's get married when this war is over!" or something like that. They still marry, and S supports are still possible, but that's it. No time hopping.
This is also eating away at me, I would love to see the S rank support system back. I don't see why they wouldn't bring it back after such a large crowd came flocking after it was added into awakening.
So far as I can tell at 2:30, the battle preparations menu is... exactly the same as it was in Awakening? I'm kinda disappointed, in all honesty. Though they have dolled it up a bit, which is nice. And by extension, it looks like Support conversations are certainly still a thing (and given that they're base-activated, almost certainly infinite as well... sigh).
Oh thank goodness, you can use internet communications to get new teams to fight, as someone who doesn't live in a city its hard to find people to streetpass.

The girl at 6:02 with the purple hair and white bow, what is her name? is she playable or just some random chick in your castle, I couldn't find her anywhere on the wiki, which is disappointing because she was my chosen "waifu" at first sight but I'm worried she's just somebody you talk too to get street pass stuff or something.
Captain Karnage 1) You only get one version per cartridge, however the other version can be purchased as DLC alongside the 3rd route. 2) Dual strike is likely activated under the condition you're only adjacent to a unit, while dual guard requires you to pair up a unit (though I could be wrong with this one)
Captain Karnage 1. I'm not entirely sure, but I believe the special edition comes with the 2 versions on one cartridge, and then a free download for the 3rd path. 2. Yes.
1. The special edition does contain both versions (I believe on the same cartridge), and gives you a download code for the third path that can be used when the third path is released. 2. Correct, dual strikes only occur when you stand adjacent, and it always activates. Dual guard occurs when paired up and activates when the shield gauge is full. Enemy dual strikes are always blocked, however.

Steven Ventro It probably is coming back. It was an immensely popular feature in Awakening, and only four characters are directly related to you in the game.
Steven Ventro In other games, you could still "marry", but no kids would come out of it. It usually ends with "let's get married when this war is over!" or something like that. They still marry, and S supports are still possible, but that's it. No time hopping.
This is also eating away at me, I would love to see the S rank support system back. I don't see why they wouldn't bring it back after such a large crowd came flocking after it was added into awakening.

I'm kinda disappointed, in all honesty. Though they have dolled it up a bit, which is nice. And by extension, it looks like Support conversations are certainly still a thing (and given that they're base-activated, almost certainly infinite as well... sigh).
6, 7, and 8 all had the same preparation menu too...
Oh thank goodness, you can use internet communications to get new teams to fight, as someone who doesn't live in a city its hard to find people to streetpass.
TheDeathby2 For someone who lives in a small city, Streetpassing can still be a pain in the neck. I suggest you go to a Best Buy or a Barnes & Noble. Hell, even a college campus'll do. Well, if any of these locations are within a reasonable distance.
The girl at 6:02 with the purple hair and white bow, what is her name? is she playable or just some random chick in your castle, I couldn't find her anywhere on the wiki, which is disappointing because she was my chosen "waifu" at first sight but I'm worried she's just somebody you talk too to get street pass stuff or something.

1) You only get one version per cartridge, however the other version can be purchased as DLC alongside the 3rd route.
2) Dual strike is likely activated under the condition you're only adjacent to a unit, while dual guard requires you to pair up a unit (though I could be wrong with this one)

1. The special edition does contain both versions (I believe on the same cartridge), and gives you a download code for the third path that can be used when the third path is released.
2. Correct, dual strikes only occur when you stand adjacent, and it always activates. Dual guard occurs when paired up and activates when the shield gauge is full. Enemy dual strikes are always blocked, however.

Rey I love you my man but this made the decision harder. I want Hoshido cause of the classes and redheads (I'm a sucker for them) but I also want Nohr cause it's chapters victory objectives and story sounds more interesting!! WHICH ONE DO I GET FIRST!!
