- Fly through the air on America’s highest zip line as you’ll soar 1,200 feet (366m) above the Arkansas River. Royal Gorge is one of the deepest canyons in Colorado, with a maximum depth of 1,250 feet (380m).
Royal Gorge Bridge & Attractions is located south of Denver at the foot of the Rocky Mountains near Canon City, Colorado.

Amazing how many different recordings are going on here at one point. Zip-liner film their zip. Gondola rider filming the zipliner. Someone on the gorge train filming everything zipping by above the gorge. River rafters briefly filming the train.
I was there last month. The bridge made me nervous, so forget everything else!

It was so thrilling i had to do it twice. They make you read and sign a death waiver which makes you think twice about how safe it is. Took the chance cause its once in a lifetime opportunity but i wouldnt do it again. People watching at a distance were telling me theres no way theyd do it. Its pretty amazing.

Funny you ask. The zipline was a couple weeks new when i did it and i remember asking if they can give 2nd ride half price, i told them i was short on cash cause i left all my items in car cause last thing i want was dropping anything on the ride. I said if not id have to walk back. They thought about it and they gave it to me for half price just cause they were super considerate. I wasnt trying to hustle them. Dont remember the price, maybe around $40 a ride. This was i guess 6 years ago. Not sure what the rate is for multiple rides would be. Its definately worth the ride. But me personally having done it and looking back, i wouldnt do it again.

I have ziplined. I loved it, and done it several times. This one is NOT on my bucket list. Looks cool, but I've got my limits, although as a younger person, I did walk across the Royal Gorge Bridge.
Can say I would ever do this ride. That's a long way down! One malfunction, such as a roller seizing up midway, and you'd have to wait hours for a rescue.
Not really, when I had the opportunity to ride this this past summer several people who where a little to light got stuck midway! They have a operator hook up and crawl out to retrieve them and it only took around 20 minutes!

After the zipline ride, how do you get back to the other side? Walk across the bridge?
No, when you arrive there you are on the parking lot side of the gorge. In other words...you walk across the bridge and up the hill to get on the zipline.

I was there 2 weeks after it opened. I held my cell phone to record. Dont know if things went wrong after and they changed the rules.
