@da LEGEND it shouldn't do. The hop will only apply the pressure you put on to it. So turn your hop arm off fully and your TDC then apply the tdc to the correct hop. Don't use the hop sliders only the tdc
Hey bro I'm assuming it's a modify hop arm as most of the standard internals are made by modify in the steyr scout. I haven't upgraded the arm so it's what came standard on the hop unti. The h nub can be trimmed down to fit alot of hop arms. Hope this helps bud
Hey pal. To be honest my friend I've not used it. I have a suppressor on mine and it seems to help. The rifle isn't that load compared to others on the market. But if you do try it could you please me informed. Hope this helps. Have a great day
@@ghosttheghillie heyy, will do it’s £130 on longbow so I’m unsure. Might be worth waiting to see if the Wasp comes out though, either way I’ll let you know which I choose and if I rate it! Love the content keep it coming!
I have changed the bucking to a pink flamingo 60 now from sniper mechanics but still need to run some bbs through it. So not determined if it's better or not yet. I know of people changing buckings but then changing back to the stock. So I'll see how it goes
Range wise I don't know as I fitted it as soon as I got my hands on it. With accuracy it has improved just down to the fine tweaking you can do with the tdc. You also get a flat hop due to the shape of the nub. Hope this helps
@@ghosttheghillie Thanks so much! Considering getting the Scout as a replacement for my upgraded VSR. The tolerances and build quality look stellar. So you mean you can set the hop to be very flat rather than arching up then down (hope I understood what you said correctly). Thank you
@RDB the shape of the bucking will be the same so it will still be rounded but will sit flater from left to bright if you get me. When using a circular nub it can be uneven but because the h nub is flat it gives equal pressure over the whole bucking. The bucking on the styer is awesome out the box so I would just recommend just fitting the H nub
@RDB the elite offers a longer inner and outer barrel and a longer rail. And a adjustable cheek rest but to my understanding that's about all that's different between the two. I don't know the price difference between them. Either way you getting a quality product. So it's down to your preference really my friend. Hope this helps.
@da LEGEND have you changed the piston at all? Try putting a little silicone oil on the piston head and some ptfe tape on the thread were the cylinder end screw on. If they don't help mate there may be a crack in your cylinder or your piston rubber may be damaged. Give everything a really close check over
@da LEGEND there must be some damage somewhere bro. You need to find the problem before I can give you anymore advice. If its not the cylinder head it must be the piston itself
Just followed your video to install the red H nub piece of cake with this video! Thank you so much can’t wait to try it out
Hopefully you get alot of views and subs
Hey mate ! did u ever test the concave side of the nub to the bucking ? i hear so much mixed results :D pls let me know! thanks for the video :)
Yessss dude!!!!
As requested bro. Hope it helps. Thankyou for your support.

Hey buddy thanks for the video, can i ask what is the hop arm you have there? I have mod24 and the predator hop arm and modify hnub look compatible

People recommend the blue one, have u tried to swap to see the difference?
I haven't yet to be honest but I'll have a swap and keep you informed
@@ghosttheghillie I'm waiting for my scout. Ordered black they sent me grey. Once this comes i will test with blue :)
Blue is meant for the MK23, Glock and Hi-capa

How much extra range/accuracy did you get using H-nub mod? Presume you’re using 2.3J in UK? Thanks

I forgot to ask, do you adjust hopup from the top or sides?
If you've installed the nub only use the tdc at the top. The sliders will add too much hop. Hope this helps
