I remember when early/late season was held on Cascade. Fun times! I miss the fixed-grip doubles. Kept the traffic on the slopes down. Come-on ski areas. If you are going to triple lift capacity, triple the number of trails.
Sugarbush replaced some lifts with newer versions of the old lifts (eg double on castlerock) and it's great, the uphill capacity matches the downhill capacity

No thanks. I rather be on crowded trails than stuck in line. The K Peak double, Skye Peak Quad, etc all frequently had 45+ min lines.
