Living in Saudi Arabia we always travel with Saudi. Their crew are professionals ,the air hostess is very accommodating and friendly. One of the safest airlines in the world. The ground crew could use more customer service training. Will miss Saudi when we leave this beautiful country.

I flew in and out of Dhahran in the 1970s and 1980s many times. I think they closed it and moved to Dammam. I miss it terribly and would love to return before I die. I promise not to complain about the food or quality of the entertainment. The last time I flew it was a Sony Walkman and "wahad Pepsi." Awesome channel.
My experience with Saudia always have been above my expectations!!!Also Saudia has improved a lot over the years,such a great airline to fly with!!! Also you could had tried RUH-LHR onboard the newer B777-300ER with more comfort!!!

Hey 👋 now you don’t need a COVID test to transit in Saudi Arabia 😀😀 they don’t have any requirements anymore but only depends on the destination that you are going to and if that destination required a COVID they will ask for that at the counter 😊
I flew Saudia for the first time in 2019 on ; Manchester-Jeddah-Kuala Lumpur and returning Lahore-Jeddah-Manchester. Absolute Super Airline (LHEJED was great apart from a dirty aircraft and 3 moody crew members). Yes I love the uniform and I am sad to see the new one is just a ripoff of Emirates. Great Video !!!!
We had very bad experience with saudi airlines few years back from JEDDAH TO KARACHI where we got our boarding passes at jeddah airport and our luggage was also cleared and sent but at the end gate they said the gates are closed you're allowed to board in for flight. Our security checks was cleared too.Such a disrespectful bad experience was that when we had the boarding passes in our hands and our passports were also stamped but the staff at last gate didn't allowed our family to go in plane. Even though we were on time and we also asked the reason but they themselves were confused and had no answer. This was our family's worst and last experience of Saudi Airlines . They let us wait at the airport till the flight got landed at KARACHI Airport we were left standard at the airport and they even wasn't allowing us to leave the airport . The ground staff was extremely unprofessional that they can't handle the situation. This was family's worst and last experience.

I like the window control as long as the crew does not make the decision to manually override the switch and either lower and raise the entire aircraft windows.
That I understand on take off and landing, but not at cruising altitude after you have been served a meal westward from Europe. My guess is that was a subtle hint to go to sleep and don’t ask for things.

If you had to travel to Saudi, then it's not a bad option, but I wouldn't go out of my way to fly them when there are so many other choices. Not saying they are bad, but not where I want to spend my money or time.
If jeddah gets properly developed it too can be made into an aviation hub the likes of Doha and Dubai as literally it’s location lies between the east and west.

@@airtravelaviation491 We had very bad experience with saudi airlines few years back from JEDDAH TO KARACHI where we got our boarding passes at jeddah airport and our luggage was also cleared and sent but at the end gate they said the gates are closed you're allowed to board in for flight. Our security checks was cleared too.Such a disrespectful bad experience was that when we had the boarding passes in our hands and our passports were also stamped but the staff at last gate didn't allowed our family to go in plane. Even though we were on time and we also asked the reason but they themselves were confused and had no answer. This was our family's worst and last experience of Saudi Airlines . They let us wait at the airport till the flight got landed at KARACHI Airport we were left standard at the airport and they even wasn't allowing us to leave the airport . The ground staff was extremely unprofessional that they can't handle the situation. This was family's worst and last experience.
They can compete with Qatar and Emirates, or maybe better
