I can't explain that feeling, but after a week of having this song on repeat I decided to look into it and found the story behind it and man I am so glad that I did that. I've found about Aisha's story and after reading some quotes from her book and hearing her speech at TedX and finally found that motivation to be happy. I mean if a young girl found happiness even if she had so much sadness and pain, what stops me, a 31 yrs old man that has a little bit of everything, to be happy, to enjoy my time on this Earth? I read your sister’s book after watching the movie, and the one quote that stuck with me was this: “I must admit I am jealous of everybody I see. I see girls just standing up and chatting to one another. They look so healthy, and I would kill to be them, and just to be able to stand up too.” I’ve heard ‘inspirational quotes’ from a lot of people. But this one stuck with me because she was talking about something so simple: standing up. And I had no idea that anyone could feel this way seeing another person just standing. And in that moment, I had my own epiphany - that nothing in this life should be taken for granted. Aisha taught me that not even my legs which help me to stand, or my lungs which help me to breathe, should be taken for granted for even a millisecond. Didnt want to watch sky is pink due to the subject was too close to home but after i found out it was based on a true story i had to. While watching bought back so many emotions from when my beautiful angel daughter Inayah passed away in 2021 at 5 months old due to illness in her heart I feel the pain the family is feeling i hope i can stay strong and carry on like aishas family. I agree the girl who played Aisha did an awesome job, but PC, oh my god a thousand expressions, like laughter with fam, tears when her daughter is in pain, tensed when she goes in for treatment, naughtiness while helping her daughter with her boyfriend, helplessness when she realises that her daughter is counting her final days, all and all of them so so perfectly conveyed.. such dynamic screen presence, just spectacular..
I lost my friend just when this song got released. She suffered from blood cancer. It took just two months for her to leave this world when her cancer was detected. It still breaks my heart whenever I listen to this song and just mends it in the right way. I miss you Soha❤️ I love you

Ever since I heard this song for the first time in the movie hall, I kept on wondering how could any music be this beautiful, this song has been on loop ever since that day, I just can't get enough of it. It never fails to fill me up with positivity and hope and happiness and so much love. I saw the story of this girl and nothing in the universe had inspired me more than her words, her art and her work. It just feels amazing to look at how some people understand life so easily whereas we fail to do it. I have watched the movies so many times, in the theater hall, on TH-cam when it was put up, I have recommended this movie to so many people that I have lost count. And what is more amazing is that the movie, as amazing it was, still could capture only a small part of this beautiful journey.

Didnt want to watch sky is pink due to the subject was too close to home but after i found out it was based on a true story i had to. While watching bought back so many emotions from when my beautiful angel daughter Inayah passed away in 2021 at 5 months old due to illness in her heart I feel the pain the family is feeling i hope i can stay strong and carry on like aishas family. I miss you so much Inayah my angel i love you always ❤❤❤
