Hey Fred, I told you this a year or two ago and you sent some sort :-). Me and my son-in-law started dealing with my babies about six years ago. Our goat skin gloves got crapped up real quick. The next year we just use nitrile gloves and pull them over our goat skin gloves and it was amazing. now our goatskin gloves, stay clean, the dexterity actually increased with the the nitrile gloves due to the compression. No need to clean gloves, just protect them. Try it!
I wore holes in the finger tips of my first original pair so I just threw them out. Now I use nitrile gloves and will never go back. Nothing to clean and so much more nimble in the hive. Thank you for the videos Fred.
Frederick, personally I use the saddle soap (brand dos not matter) to clean my bee gloves. To keep lather soft - use castor oil. Give it a try before the "cosmetic" stuff $$. ;) This is not a secret for those leaving paycheck to paycheck. Apparently no everyone still remembers a basic of leather cleaning. :)
Mine don’t last long enough to get dirty. Especially doing hive removals. Mine are covered in duct tape. Every finger is duct taped. I’d like to know who makes a really long wearing glove.
@ good to know. My body doesn’t take bee stings very well. A sting on my hand will swell up like a ball for days and I can’t even make a fist. My fingers feel like arthritis when I get stung there. Close to my eyes will swell them shut. Fire ants don’t faze me. I get stung weekly by them here in Texas. Funny how different venoms affect different people. They’ll put blisters on my mom.
@@jamesbarron1202 I agree, i’ve been stung by fire ants when I played football in Florida and it looked like craters on the moon! Bee stings use to hurt and last for 3-5 days but now I swell up for only a few hours.
Loved the grandson's toothbrush bit, gave me a nice long laugh!🤣🤣
:)
Thanks Fred!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment, Rodney :)
Thanks so much Fred! Time to rescue my drawer full of stiff, old gloves! Lots of grandkids’ toothbrushes to get the job done. 😂

Thanks Fred, I know what your grandson is going to want for Christmas. Happy Thanksgiving!
You caught my attention.
😮
Hi Fred, what if you cut the finger tips off the oldest gloves before they get tossed?😊

I don't own a pair, but what about those tactical bee gloves that all the superstars are wearing these days?
Hi Fred, I have a pair of the tactical gloves from Beesupply. They are good and breathable but the bees can sting there top of your hand.

I'll stick with the cow skin war gloves
You'll never have to back off when you have those on :)
Thanks!
Wow, if only all of my viewers did this :) Thank you again and again :)
Thanks!
