This is the firts form of Choy Li Fut?

@HiddenScholar Also, at our schools we are taught this at an advanced level, while most schools use this as a beginning level form. The beginning level is the more common traditional use of this form, so a comparison to our school learning this just before black sash is not fair at all.

Very sloppy. Its a dead form. Would look better if he was more serious and took his time.

It is very similar to the form I learned in the 90's from someone who learned it from the Chan Family. The part after the second Dip Jeong/ Don Lon combination is a little different than the form I was taught but everything up to that is about the same. Most of the time when I see a video of this form it is the variant taught by Doc Fai Wong, which is vastly different in many respects, in fact this is only the second time I have seen a form that was in any way similar to what I learned from Sifu Spencer in Fresno back in the 90's (the first was just before I watched this video but was only a partial demonstration ending just after the second Tau Ma in that sequence.

@@EVENINGWOLF666 I learned the Doc Fai Wong version in the 80's. The only hands were opening and closing. Everything in the middle was all stance work, with a couple of poon cue/kwan cue towards the end.

@HiddenScholar This post is not in line with the teachings of WD schools. We are taught to let our martial arts training and practice speak for itself and to be respectful of other martial artists. We are NOT supposed to say things along the lines of "my lineage or school's way is better than yours." I have been a student for 7 years. I don't know if you are a new student and haven't been taught this yet or a longer term student who just forgot. I suggest you validate this by asking your Sifu.

Buenas noches, sí es la forma Ng Lu Ma, pero está mal hecha, no hace bien los movimientos, además de que están muy flojos, posiciones muy altas, etcétera

wow, he's really rushing through the set. speed in such a foundational form isn't as important as good grounding and posture. just sayin...
