The story is set in when Qinghe Nie Sect was dealing with their ancestral knife tomb incident. Nie Mingjue brought Nie Huaisang alone to do good for others by restoring the tomb back to its original state to ensure peace in the Nie sect.
Through this, Nie Huaisang went from a playful disciple to maturing into the next generation sect leader and Nie Mingjue learned, understood his brother more and helped him grow.

Omg the shouting scene is so much more powerful with real voice and the echoes, and I hope his ankle/leg is alright, it looked so painful! :( I just watched the movie a few minutes ago and it is so good!! Even though as MDZS fan, we already knew how the story would end but I still couldn't help getting teary eyed.. Wang Yizhou is such a good actor, also irl he is really humble and handsome (also looks about 10 years younger than his character lol)

Already saw it and I love it. The relationship between the Nie bros is more refined and gave the audience more depth into their clan history. Everything about the movie is very nice. My ears are blessed with the sound effects and my eyes are fed with Nie Bros Visual. I watch the movie on facebook with eng sub. It's free and quality is nice, just make sure to have a strong, or manageable, internet connection. All in all, This movie is worth watching. Hi! 😄
