For those of you just joining us, welcome! We're Vic and Jo and we've been narrowboating around the UK for the last few years on our 54ft narrowboat Zero. Two years ago we decided to give up our jobs in the city and add another boat to our fleet in hope of turning it into a travelling cafe and becoming full time boating baristas.

PS. Postage is a bit expensive to the US and beyond which unfortunately we can’t do much about. We are hoping to produce a digital version of the cookbook at some point so if the pricey postage puts you off, hang around for that announcement!
Joe why don't you do the cakes to order as well and post them and post them cake by post people will pay the money people will pay the money for the cake and the postage
I'm from outside the UK and while I'm OK with paying the shipping (it's a gift for my wife), I paid with Paypal and Paypal did the currency conversion. Is that what you expected?

That would be amazing. I can imagine a book with illustrated pic like the Shirley Hughes books. You could do one of what Williams sees and hears on the canals. Pointing and feeding the ducks. Seeing the lambs. You could do a sound book of Dad starts the engine . And you press the button to hear the sound.
You could explain the locks and record the noises. You could do this is the noise when dad is working on his laptop. Tap tap on the keys.
Additional needs children would love it . senory books are so good plus u.k. canals are unique with history and culture. Go for it! You guys are amazing I'm in australia loving your videos. Jo font feel guilty bout not being with William it's a tough age.

Why would anyone not pre-order this book given you watch their narrowboat family life and the adventure's they bring through TH-cam for free. If you have never baked a cake (like me) surely 2023 is a good year to try with such expert help on a printed page. Well done Jo, not forgetting Vic and William's support. 👍

That was quite a pause Jo. “I do miss William ………… and Vick”. Vick, you are not alone loosing your starry eyed wife to her first child. This too will pass in time.
Just pre ordered your cookbook. We get so much enjoyment watching your videos and wishing we could stop by Holly for a cup of coffee and lemon drizzle cake that I had to order the book. We would stop by but it's a long ways from California to the canals in England. Maybe next spring 2024 when we'll be traveling portions of England and Wales, one never knows. Take care... I pre-ordered the cookbook to ship to San Francisco. At first my bank, Bank of America, declined the charge and sent me a text message asking me if I really really really wanted to do it. I guess they imagined the mad baker of Holly - The Café Boat was secretly the leader of a nefarious group of cookbook dealers:) I told them, yeah, mate, and it went right through the second time.

When I saw that shipping to US was more than the cost of a book I just saved money and ordered 3! I have been watching you forever, I Love the canals and have almost a mile of canal on my property in central Pennsylvania. It’s been great seeing you guys create the cafe and watch Vic polish the coffee machine and you create the recipes, I just love it all! And I have a grandson the same age as William.
