It's a shame that you can't feel the difference. From dyno graphs the torque difference at 3200 should be substantial! Could it be that the OEM ECU tweaks the fuel/ignition at the same time when it opens/closes the valve?
THanks for the video BTW! Well done and very informative 👍 I have a sierra with 24v BOB and standard ECU with VIS non working.

Thank you for your comment and hope that you get the VIS working on yours! What plans do you have on your car?
I think that I was a bit hasty there - right after the setup was done and I was activating and de-activating the VIS via ECU parameters using a laptop at the side of the road. All this means that it is difficult to feel the difference back to back. Now I have VIS hooked up to a switch and you sure can feel the difference.
If something, the lower part of rev range feels a bit gutless, but when VIS kicks in, it's like vtec!

@@myfordxr4i Glad to hear that it made a difference for you! Yeah, the lower part of rev range is quite gutless on my car as well now. Hoping it will get better if I enable VIS.
No big plans for the car, just drive and enjoy it on the track and on the road.
