The problem with this presentation is as follows:
IF the psalm in Isaiah 12 is one that is sung when Jesus Christ reigns in God's kingdom on the earth, WHY would they sing:
"Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’”????
    • Why will there be a need for them to "trust and not be afraid" when the battle is over and they are already in the "Kingdom"???
    • Why would they need God as their strength when the battle is over and they are ALREADY in the "Kingdom" that is supposed to give them rest?
    • Why would there be a need for God to become their salvation when the battle is over?
Let’s be aware of this truth: In that Kingdom, there will be REST for God's people - they will no longer have to be "strong and courageous". They will no longer need God to become their salvation because salvation is needed to ENTER that Kingdom; trust and strength are needed as they transition to that kingdom.
Isaiah 12:2 quoted above is reminiscent of when God commissioned Joshua to take His people over the Jordan River to enter the "Promise Land", as it is written:
"No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. BE STRONG AND OF GOOD COURAGE, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them." - Joshua 1:5-6
When will this Isaiah 12 "song" be sung? Isaiah 51:10-11 tells us, as it is written:
"Are You not the One who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; that made the depths of the sea a road for the redeemed to cross over? So, the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and COME to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness; sorrow and sighing shall flee away."
    Also noteworthy is the following:
"Therefore, please hear this, you afflicted, And drunk but not with wine. Thus says your Lord, the Lord, and your God, who pleads the cause of His people: “See, I have taken out of your hand the cup of trembling, the dregs of the cup of My fury; You shall no longer drink it. But I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you, who have said to you, 'Lie down, that we may walk over you.’ and you have laid your body like the ground, and as the street, for those who walk over.” - Isaiah 51:21
Why will the Most High pour out His judgment on the world? Is it not to restore all things to His godly rule? Is it not to establish the true heavenly "Promise Land of Rest" for His people? Is it not to (as it is written in Isaiah 51:3):
"For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; Joy and gladness will be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody.”???
God’s judgment is needed for His people to transition into that heavenly “Promise Land of Rest” and His people will sing the song of Isaiah 12 during that transition and as they ENTER into the Kingdom.
“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy and lovingkindness are everlasting, His faithfulness endures to all generations.” Psalm 100:4-5
