@@makhalyna it's absolutely tiny. i went to seoul and compared my hands (which are p small) to as many idol handprints as i could find and as for male idols, taemin's was by far the smallest of all of them :') his hands are smaller than mine, and i'm a girl that's only 5"2'

@@Eualia Taemin was the one who wrote Heaven (he wanted to be a comforting song), except the bridge, that was added, along with the outro, for the album. The bridge was wrote by yoo youngjin (EXO What Is love, SuJu Sorry Sorry Answer) and actually is him the one who is singing the "play little girl, do it like that" part.
I like the bridge (Taemin's vocals sound amazing!), but those lyrics... Idk, doesn't match with the rest of the song 😅

This is my favorite song off ACT 2. His vocals has gotten stronger and you can hear the growth! That note and ad libs at the end he went off! I know Jonghyun would be so proud of him! This is one of Taemin best vocally

I love how this song is like a mix of old and new SM R&B style! You can hear Yoo Young Jin's strong background vocals and even the melodies are very much his composing style. DBSK and Super Junior sang many songs in this style and it's really nice to hear Taemin on a track like this!
The fact that yoo young Jin is background shows the respect Taemin gets from sm now. It's so clear that we can call this Taemin featuring Yoo young Jin

Taemin is undisputedly being accorded the respect he deserves, when it comes to the creative side of things.
He is a senior artist, with a voice and a vision.
This is nothing less than his due.

As a Christian Taemint in my late 50's, I so appreciates how Taemin infuses Christian meanings and thought into his multi-layered lyrics. While the lyrics seem to be a straight-up love song with sexual connotations, there is a deeper, more profound theme running through it, just like in his song, "Want" where Taemin plays dual characters: one being the part of Lucifer and the other choosing salvation at the end. (Taemin confirmed my analysis of this when he answered a question during a VLIVE saying that "Want" referenced a story in the Old Testament.)
Like "Want", once I really read the lyrics and studied them, it hit me like a ton of bricks. The richness and beauty of the message are hidden unless you understand the basic principles of salvation. If you don't like or subscribe to Christian thought, just ignore the rest of this comment. For those interested, please continue and leave your thoughts in the replies. Here we go:
Taemin is a devout Catholic, and Catholics tend to actually read and interpret their Bible in the proper context (unlike a lot of other churches, sadly) -- which is the ancient context in which it was written according to the culture, history, and social traditions of the 2nd millennial BC through the early 2nd Century AD. This is key.
While Taemin's main role in "Want" was playing the role of Lucifer, he's actually playing the part of Jesus in "Heaven". He opens the song with the lyrics, "I'll show you Heaven, I'll let you feel it". Jesus promised the same thing to those who believed in Him in the Bible.
"Try not to laugh or cry for no reason" (Don't cry for unimportant, material things. Laugh for pure joy in the life you've been given and cry when in actual pain or loss of life.)
"What are you looking at? Is something bothering us" (Don't have any idols [media, internet - something you worship more than me in your life. That something is sinful when you worship it. Anything sinful separates you from Jesus.)
"Tell me about your pain. There is no person without emotions" (Confess your pain/sufferings to him as you are not someone without emotions.)
''Tell me. I can understand and feel you" (Jesus understands pain and suffering. He went through it and felt all the suffering and sin of the world on his shoulders the moment before he died on the cross. He still feels our pain and suffering.)
"I'll take you to Heaven with me. Show me how you feel." (Only Jesus can take us to Heaven. Jesus wants and encourages us to tell him when we need help, when we're depressed, sad, anxiety ridden, or need advice - this is prayer, and we are to pray constantly as bottled-up emotions tend to get in the way of wise thinking and provoke negative reactions. Jesus, in the Bible, tells us to lay all our burdens at the foot of the Cross - his feet.)
We are all the children of God, hence the refrain, "Baby".
"I bet you like that" (having someone to talk to; relieve your pain - a confidant and/or having someone take you to Heaven)
"You cannot break out of a hellish world" (We live in a sin infested [cursed] world that will never get better, and it's only getting worse. That's a FACT. However, we are also being refined by the fire of this cursed world. Those who stay true to Jesus will gain the reward of immortality in Heaven with him.)
"I wanna be honest and clear" (Jesus is free of sin and only speaks the truth.)
"I'll protect you, dear" (We are precious children to Jesus. He gives us boundless love and protection as in protection from Hell - if we only accept Him.)
"Give me, who will save you, your little hand" (If you accept me by believing in me and asking for forgiveness, I'll save you from sin. Again, Jesus offers his hand to all, but only a few accept his free gift.)
"This is the bondage of freedom. Play a little more freely in me" (You have been given free will, but when you choose the world over Jesus, you are restrained by sin and consigned to die; forever removed from Christ = Hell. Christ is light and Heaven; Hell is complete and utter darkness. You cannot enter Heaven with a sin-stained soul. However, when you choose Jesus, you will die, but at death, you will resurrect like He did, gaining eternal life with him in Heaven. You have complete freedom with Jesus within you, as His blood will cover your all your sin when you accept him. This doesn't mean you will never sin again, as we are not perfect like Christ, but humans and live in a sinful world. No one is perfect, no, not one, but you will be more aware of what sin is and less likely to participate in it, or you will repent because you will understand that sin brings no lasting happiness; only death. God regularly used sinners to achieve his plan and purposes in the Bible. This illustrates to us that although we may choose Christ, we can never be sinless and need a Savior.)
"Hey little girl, do it like that. It's already begun" (When you do take his hand [accept him], forgiveness is instantly given.)
"One way to me" (This line says it all and it's a constant refrain in the New Testament - there is only one way to Jesus and thereby Heaven -- acceptance of Jesus as your Savior by believing in Him and asking for forgiveness.)
"If it's endless chaos, it doesn't matter if you throw it at me" (In other words, if you believe everything in this world is nothing more than the result of chaos/chance, why not give me a try. What do you have to lose?)
There it is. Taemin, once again, masterfully lays out the salvation message in a beautiful way that all can understand, if they will just take the time to really read and understand his message through his music.
agree with you that his lyrics and music videos are containing Christians influences but i disagree with you on the last part that he is lays out the salvation message in his art , as he appears to me that he is now less religious compared to what he used to be in the past , and some times through his lyrics i believe he is struggling with his faith and this is very obvious in IDEA that he himself informed that he is aiming to find a new identity and more rebellious ego .
but either way he is a phenomenal artist , he is on a high and different level stand among K pop industry , I'm a Christian myself and whether he is still Christian or not but i love his provocative and dark art as he contains a deep message reflecting conflicted soul .
