Our Cleanup Mission as civics assignment at National College of Arts, Lahore

Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel! In today's vlog capturing a day in the life at the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore! From hearty breakfasts to impactful cleanup missions, join us as we navigate a day full of productivity, camaraderie, and fun.
Our day began early at the hostel mess, where the aroma of freshly made sandwiches and chai welcomed us. The mess was bustling with students, all gearing up for another exciting day at NCA. The breakfast spread was simple yet delicious, providing the perfect fuel for the busy day ahead. Sitting with friends, we discussed our plans for the day. The chatter was filled with excitement about the cleanup mission scheduled later. Conversations ranged from academic assignments to the latest art projects, setting a positive tone for the morning. As we finished our meal, the anticipation for the day’s activities was palpable. With a final sip of chai, we headed out, ready to tackle our first task of the day - working on the English journal submission.
After breakfast, I made my way to the library, a sanctuary of creativity and focus. The English journal submission was due soon, and I needed to finalize my piece. The library, with its towering shelves and quiet corners, provided the perfect environment for concentration
With my journal piece completed, I headed to the English class to submit it. Handing in the assignment gave me a sense of relief and pride. The class was filled with a palpable sense of achievement as my peers and I discussed our submissions. Our teacher appreciated the hard work we had put into our pieces, which added to the feeling of accomplishment.
With the journal piece submitted, it was time for the main event - the cleanup mission at NCA. This was no ordinary task; it was a marks-based assignment that combined community service with academic credit. The initiative aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and pride in maintaining our beautiful campus. We gathered at the main courtyard, where our professors briefed us on the plan. Equipped with gloves, garbage bags, and cleaning tools, we divided into teams and set out to different parts of the campus. Our team was assigned to the sculpture garden, a serene space that needed some TLC. The cleanup was hard work but incredibly fun. We laughed, joked, and shared stories as we worked. It was a great way to bond with classmates and contribute to the upkeep of our campus. By the end of the session, the garden looked pristine, and there was a collective sense of achievement.
After the cleanup, we headed to the auditorium for a fun session organized by the student council. But first, there was an important announcement - the distribution of marks for our cleanup efforts. The professors praised our dedication and teamwork, awarding us grades that reflected our hard work. It was a proud moment for all of us. Our teacher took to the stage to appreciate our efforts further, highlighting the positive impact of our work and encouraging us to continue being proactive members of the NCA community. With the formalities done, it was time to unwind. The energy in the room was infectious, and everyone had a fantastic time.
After the fun-filled afternoon, I had some editing work to catch up on. Editing requires patience and attention to detail, but seeing the final product come together was immensely satisfying.
As the day wound down, it was time for Society practices.
Reflecting on the day, it was clear that it was one of those quintessential NCA days, filled with learning, creativity, hard work, and fun. The cleanup mission, in particular, stood out as a highlight - not just because it earned us marks, but because it fostered a sense of community and pride in our campus.
