I think it's horrendous what's happened..but it's also so sad how the neighbors describe him as being so socially awkward and how he reacted when he met the guy a second time and the guy hardly recognised him. I'm not so much thinking of kohberger but all the socially awkward people out there who's one fleeting interaction with someone can stand out for them like that and mean so much. Let's all try to be more polite and kinder to people who go through this social awkwardness. I'm not talking about killers obviously,, but you just don't know how hard something as simple as interacting can be for some people.
But then you have to be careful too. Why? Or how so? Sometimes befriending someone with possible sociopath or psychopath tendencies, if you will, could have them being obsessed or infactiuated with you and if you pull away you could be their first murder. [And I get it's not like anyone knew he was a possible sociopath or psychopath, but there was something off about him and the neighbors wife felt it.] Yes, perhaps that's extreme, to think that. But things like that do happen. Now, I do believe in being kind. I have been told that I have probably never met a stranger as I love getting to know people. But there are also times when we have to be careful with just how friendly we are. We still don't know what this guys motivation was. Did he hit on one of them and they rejected him...and he was tired of being rejected? Did it happen in front of the other three and that's why he killed them all? Maybe or maybe not. We will hopefully one day find out. I just think that being friendly should have boundaries today. Folks can be friendly and careful, without having to be a jerk. 😊😉✌🏾
That must be terrible. Obviously not his fault but many people feel bad about this for the rest of their life😢 Obviously there are 4 victims, their families&friends… but in the end, there are so many people who are haunted when something so vile happens
I bet that if you watch the following interrogations, you'll get hooked: 1- Russell Williams, Canadian ex Colonel & ex Commander of Trenton air base, depraved r.pist, murdered 2 women. This interrogation is used the world over to train detectives. It is a 10 hour interrogation pared down to 2 hours 39 minutes. 2- Sarah Boone, murder by suitcase... 3- Stephanie Lazarus, ex cop, murdered her ex's new wife, had a long career as a detective, was finally caught 26 years after the crime. 4- Chris Watts, despicable family annhilator. These creeps got me hooked! 🇨🇦👋
I agree with you there. Me as well ill watch it once in a while like Id or true crime and it makes me scared to leave my house nevermind sick to my stomach some of the stories are mind blowing Especially those from locations you lived or visited during the times of the murders ect, it's creepy
Pretty interested to see what evidence is actually produced. With this being such a high profile murder, investigators are under the gun to pin a suspect. There are so many cases where false convictions occur, planted evidence, etc. For the sake of the families however, I do hope they find the right person guilty.
I feel for the neighbor who feels like he could have done more to befriend Brian and possibly stopped him from committing the murders. Nothing could have changed what Brian did, the man was always going to do this it was only a matter of time and opportunity.
@@CaptainBlaine I think all of the above are opinions that other people like to share.. you're over there stating it's not fact. Which part? No opinion is wrong.
Neighbor lamenting about his decision not to hang out and how it might have changed this outcome is tough. Don’t dwell on the should haves, brother. It is a destructive way of thinking.
I think that dude was suspicious himself who talked. Contradicted himself in a minute. Like he did not have any empathy for crime. Of course people talk about a crime in classes too. That red shirt dude seems cold himself and awkward, can not talk properly!
He seems like a smart guy. I'm sure he knows there was nothing he could do. I bet his wife pointed out that it could have been them that he murdered. They may have dodged it by being as friendly as they were. But it does show the empathy that this nice man had for the guy. He tried. Kohlburger needed to try a little harder. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink!!
20:29 I know how he feels, as I have been through very something similar, but there really isn’t anything he could’ve done, like met up with him more, been more friendly etc. I think he did plenty, involving this guy in as many gatherings as he could-as did I with my own university coursemate (I saw just about every day and had lunch with and study sessions many, many times) -who went on to slash both his own parents to death in the family home with a machete and then took his own life with the same weapon after writing an apology to his brother on the walls in their blood - this was in my second year of uni. I was 19 when it happened. This was almost 20 years ago. It does replay in your head a lot, especially in the first few years after it happened-maybe I could’ve said or done something that would’ve prevented this.. but there really isn’t. Took me 10+ years to be at peace with myself, and to truly accept what had happened had nothing to do with my own actions.
You are so right and I'm thankful you have come to terms that it wasn't your fault and you couldn't have saved them. I hope his neighbor is also able to come to this point. I too have regret where I wish I said something, noticed and put together what was going on. We all do the best we can with what we have.
(If you see this)To the very nice neighbor of Brian Kohberger, the one who almost felt guilty that he hadn´t been more inviting and including with Kohberger: This is not your fault! You couldn´t make friends with BK because he was a damaged person. He didn´t become what he is because you didn´t include him more!

What wasn't mentioned here is male sociopaths tend to crash (where it all goes wrong) between the ages of 28-32 /Contrarily female sociopaths bottom out at a much later advance age of (46-50) Also you first notice sociopathic characteristics in males at age 12 / female sociopaths start to show sociopathic characteristics at around age 15 *Once again later*

The eyes truly are the window to the soul because when I look at Bryan’s eyes, you can see it. There’s nothing behind them, like when I look at the pictures and photos of his eyes they look so different from the eyes of a normal person.
So when you see people's eyes, you can tell they will commit a crime? hahaha don't be naive, there are millions of people with the same eyes, the thing is that some of them will be restricted by punishment to commit evil things. But in the end, everybody has evil inside themselves.

More often than not that “weirdness” is the early signs of a mental illness and a disconnect. You ain’t missing anything if you aren’t a professional. What you need to do is get your children evaluated by a professional to rule out anything.

I agree with him I think that he's a sociopath. That he became what he is through his experiences rather than somebody like Ted Bundy where he is a psychopath born that way always was. But psychopaths don't necessarily kill, I think the circumstances that arise in their lives also contribute to the way that they become.

There are countless awkward guys who never commit heinous crimes. Don’t make excuses. Only a twisted soul could have done this, not an ordinary troubled soul.
I agree. The brewery crew will easily sell their narrative but I’ve worked at a restaurant and I’m positive that staff would have made those claims if BK started a conversation with a waitress. Women are so sensitive and reactive they would have gossiped and had the entire staff against him by the end of his visit. When society treats young men with such hostility this is how they respond. It’s part of the feminists being anti masculine.
His social life was his responsibility. Maybe he should have been able to live, learn, and love himself a whole lot better. We are all are own responsibility, and we need to end the codependency, and enabling.

True. I saw an interview with another district atty on a different case. He was describing a man who killed a woman who was found dead in his own bed. "He is a killer. If he had not have killed her, he would have killed someone else somewhere, sometime." It seems harsh, but they, unfortunately, have to deal with these people on a regular basis. They leave a trail of people saying, "I wish I would have seen the signs, I wish I would have taken action."
@@mimig6932 I agree this was probably his first and only experience with murder. DNA collection is so good nowadays that it doesn't matter if a person was in a rush or not, they are going to leave a trace of themselves behind. One thing I agree with from this video is that BK outed himself because no accomplished criminologist would make that many mistakes or leave that many clues behind.

Eh. I disagree here. There are so many SERIAL killers whose friends and families were SHOCKED. I feel like it's more common that people say "I never would have suspected so-and-so".... and these people are heavily analyzed. I know I went a little OT, but it all boils down to the same concept.
I had the same face when I went on stage to receive my degree. I was terrified of being in front of so many people who were all looking at me, and I have ASD - eye contact is difficult and I often cope with something like this (similar to being on public display) by “shutting down.”
I want to know how socially awkward he was. Could you see someone as awkward as he was in a party? In other words, what's the severity of awkwardness? Is he a kind of a guy who'd avoid eye contact with anybody he doesn't know? Could his dead stare possibly be a byproduct of heroin addiction? his brain wires were permanently altered as a result of heavy drug use at young age?
With respect, what difference would the degree of his awkwardness make? There are plenty of people who are socially awkward who don't commit crimes and plenty of socially facile people who do. I think his social comfort level, whatever it may have been, is incidental or collateral to anything he may or may not have done in terms of this case.

I know someone who personally knows him, went to school with both of these young men, studied under the same teacher & they said they don’t believe he did it. Says he doesn’t have that type of personality & they can’t understand why they are claiming he was weird around females when in actuality, young college girls were drawn to him and his intelligence. Makes you wonder if there’s something and someone else who committed the crime and be knows full well what happened & why they did it.
You are not accurate, he had issues with several females and the way he’d treat them as well as not getting along with the professor that he was assisting. He got fired from his TA job right before getting arrested. They also tried to come up with an improvement plan but they eventually let him go because he was incorporative and showed absurd behavior. He is definitely capable of killing all of them, his cellphone pings and car places him in that location multiple times, as well as having pictures of the victim on his phone, and stalking all the victims but he was fixated on one victim which led him to stalking all of them to try to gauge how to get closer to the one he was fixated on. His obsession drove him towards a compulsion he couldn’t resists which is why he came back to the crime scene several times, his intelligence and rationality he had got thrown out the window because of this compulsion that took over him. He wanted a girl he thought was beautiful she wasn’t responding to him and in a way he felt rejected but his obsession grew and continued thus the stalking began and thus the compulsive thoughts of wanting to have her began. He also suffers from not being able to feel much of anything, his online posts he made as a teen on “taptalk” states he always feels numb and can’t seem to find joy in anything.

I'll wager dozens if not hundreds of young females who crossed this guy's path never knew they were being possibly targeted by this guy over the last decade
I totally agree with that Forensic Psychologist that he committed this murder because he wanted to see what it felt like. Because if you look at his life regarding how he was really into law and crime and policing. I mean he had that survey thing online asking criminals to tell what it was like during and after their crime. And how they felt, what they thought, etc. So it seems he was VERY curious about all that. I mean logically that seems like the whole motive behind him doing what he did. He was so wrapped up in criminology and really wanted to know from criminals what it was like for them committing crimes and whatnot that he then decided and planned to commit a crime himself. It's just crazy how he became consumed with wanting to know what it felt like. It's like he was doing his own little experiment. I mean did he think it would of made him a better teacher or police officer or whatever work he did in law, if he had first hand knowledge of crimes and Murder? So yeah I agree that it's the reason for him doing the murders. Motive is one of the biggest thing in this case that people couldn't figure out what it was. But the whole idea of him committing those murders is because he just truly wanted to know what it felt like. What happens to a person and their minds and thoughts before and after..... It's just CRAZY that he did what he did!

Above my pay grade(BA in Criminology) but I wonder if his past addiction to heroin might be in play here because it shows a troubled person and a lack of discipline. After the fact (tragedy)but BK himself might tell all in time and if honest, that would be fascinating if he is honest with himself.
Lack of discipline in MORALITY, not normal life activities. 2- Sarah Boone, murder by suitcase...
3- Stephanie Lazarus, ex cop, murdered her ex's new wife, had a long career as a detective, was finally caught 26 years after the crime.

Pretty interested to see what evidence is actually produced. With this being such a high profile murder, investigators are under the gun to pin a suspect. There are so many cases where false convictions occur, planted evidence, etc. For the sake of the families however, I do hope they find the right person guilty.

I was 19 when it happened. This was almost 20 years ago. It does replay in your head a lot, especially in the first few years after it happened-maybe I could’ve said or done something that would’ve prevented this.. but there really isn’t. Eh. I disagree here. There are so many SERIAL killers whose friends and families were SHOCKED. I feel like it's more common that people say "I never would have suspected so-and-so".... and these people are heavily analyzed. I know I went a little OT, but it all boils down to the same concept.
Defence want to constantly delay trial to give them more time to look for reasons to file motions and reasonable doubt 😮 WE NEED A TRIAL DATE FFS..
I think he was following the path of Ted Bundy. BUNDY was a student at Washington University!! That's just my opinion....
Indeed likely imo
Bundy went to the University of Washington. Kohberger was at Washington State University. Washington University is neither of these.
@@GH-oi2jf same region of the country, weird since he came from PA
Just look at the video of him getting his degree. Every other student is happy and smiling. This dude has no emotion or expression.
I had the same face when I went on stage to receive my degree. I was terrified of being in front of so many people who were all looking at me, and I have ASD - eye contact is difficult and I often cope with something like this (similar to being on public display) by “shutting down.”
growing up i smiled more but i've found it's kind of relaxing not to smile so much and it helps you listen better
He looks like 😱 how did they find me so quick. My condolences to the family members of this case 🙏❤️...

@@lennarthagen3638 Huh? all 4 equally deserve sympathy
See I'm socially awkward and don't make eye contact but am harmless lol
I’m socially awkward too & judgmental people like you are part of the reason I don’t care to improve or look you in the eye.
With respect, what difference would the degree of his awkwardness make? There are plenty of people who are socially awkward who don't commit crimes and plenty of socially facile people who do. I think his social comfort level, whatever it may have been, is incidental or collateral to anything he may or may not have done in terms of this case.
I can't imagine anyone who would invite him to a party
@@4thamendment237 I still want to know to create a clearer profile of BK
Its all in the eyes.. he's got the death stare.. i know it wen i see it.. been around murderers in jail.. they all have it.. its called the mile stare for a reason.. crazy people like him tend not to smile much either.
a serial killer in 2022 in unbelievable. absolutely a psychopath, there been so many and still some of them are still active without knowing who it is.
This whole case blows my mind.
His neighbor seems like such a standup bloke. Must have been difficult for him.
The police did an excellent job with this case
Excellent report.
I went to the same CC he went to but a few years before he did. That look in his eyes...!!
7:03 She is describing News Hosts, politicians & many of the 1% here!!
I really hope thats true. I dont know why someone so qualified wants to ruin his life like that.
I have a feeling Kohberger is getting framed, what I don't like and what really disturbs me, is how our f*****-up society convicts someone in the Court of Public Opinion long before a Trial. This makes a fair trial impossible.
@@CurlyBelleTales sending Love ❤️...Are you single? 😊
Well, let's rely on evidence rather than hearsay in determining his guilt or innocence. Your comment reads like some hyperbolic nonsense honestly. He said she said, it's just absurd in the context of how serious this crime is and the professionals assigned to it that have made the determination of him as the prime suspect.
Doesn't the guy's last name at the bottom of the warrant at 13:30 look like Kohberger?? Weird.

I wonder how many blonde females over the years (from Kohbergers Jr High days to Current) were on his possible target list as potential victims? He clearly had a penchant or resentment towards light colored hair women. I'll wager dozens if not hundreds of young females who crossed this guy's path never knew they were being possibly targeted by this guy over the last decade
Those eyes 👀
What a lovely guy his neighbour Martinez is. Really caring and thoughtful.

So why are they going to trial. When all they have to do is go over to you and you can show proof of Bryan kohberger killing the students.

It's just CRAZY that he did what he did!
when he gets pulled over by the state trooper he doesn't seem to be glancing at what is going on behind the car, i'd be afraid of getting rear ended if i got pulled over and be glancing behind

Happy he made Bryan smile and gave him a few opportunities to experience life and being real at the same time. To bad his demons caught up with him in the end of his natural life outside penitentiary.

Some director in Hollywood is watching this thinking..."My Next Script is writing itself!"
Above my pay grade(BA in Criminology) but I wonder if his past addiction to heroin might be in play here because it shows a troubled person and a lack of discipline. I think that Piaget's theory of development could be telling and a family member who is a therapist (as I understand) maybe in time will give her thoughts and insight. After the fact (tragedy)but BK himself might tell all in time and if honest, that would be fascinating if he is honest with himself.
Lack of discipline in MORALITY, not normal life activities. Mind you, he stays in school longer than an average person, was able to succeed in losing weight, taking Martial Arts class, stopping smoking to prepare for college.. all these show me he had the ability to follow a discipline and achieve a goal MORE than an average person, maybe including YOU! Too bad, he set NO GOAL to become a Good, Decent, Caring.. person. Therefore, down the drain he thrifted!
@@COMPUTER.SCIENCE. Impressive...maybe.
