My favourite band for the last ten years. I listen to so much metal (have for seventeen years) but there is none better than CoF. Ingenuity, innovation, endless creativity, clean playing, immense vocals and the cleverest, most articulate lyrics in Metal. I am so proud they are English - I just wish everyone could recognize how incredible they are :D
if only they can come here in the Philippines and if only people here wont criticize them just like Lady Gaga. Sadly, he was disappointed because most Filipinos just took photos of them, rather than slamming with the melody and for the band. Dani's voice really is something unique. Such a very talented artist.
I was actually introduced to CoF by a Filipino back around 2001. He and I were in the same squadron together, he got me into a lot of heavier stuff than what I used to listen to at the time.
This brings back so many memories. I was in a very bad time of my life, and Cradle of Filth and their show in Denmark (where they played this) definitely helped me cope. I will always love them, no matter what happens. True fans stay - losers run.

This song brings great memories, a blast from the past! Besides, this lineup was underrated. We had Dani, Marthus, Paul, Dave, Charles and Rosie. Dani and Marthus still in CoF; Paul has his own band and works in something related to trucks or so I've been told, Charles and Dave have their own bands I believe; Rosie got married as Dani said in an interview a decade plus ago, that was the last thing we heard from her. Edit: So I was wrong about Rosie because she still active as a musician and her band is called Gone Til Winter. Also, she's the boss lady of her brand Dreaded Neat. She's an amazing hairdresser.

Btw cradle of filth the band is not devil worshipers they are a band based on the foundations of darkness and abominations. Man I've been watching DBZ my entire life and I can not hear frieza in dani at all whatsoever. I do picture a lot of DBZ related things when listening to COF though, it makes some interesting fight scenes.

I'm really not a Cradle of Filth fan, and it's not because they're bad, or not my type of music. I just need a gateway song (if that makes sense), but I really do like that they have their own sound. They don't just go with what's popular, which is awesome.
This track is basically blackened thrash metal. This isn't horrible but cradle strengths lie in the eerie dark atmosphere their songs instill like on dusk and cruelty. This is more simplistic.
@Craydll he does have a special kind of voice indeed. its like hes doing deep grunts and pigsqueals at the same time, spiced up with some strange growling background. unbelievable
