I have Libra Ascendant. Venus is in the 5th house in Aquarius. 8 places for Venus is 12th house whose cusp falls in Virgo. (4:17)
Empty 12th house. Mercury is with Venus in the 5th house. Saturn is in the 3rd house in Sagittarius, So Saturn aspects both Venus and the 12th house.
I have all good results related to the 12th house. Maybe it's because Saturn's aspect...

Unfortunately, my d1 10th house has rahu, sun,mercury with retro venus. All the planets in vishaka 1 n 2 padas. Even jupitor in vishaka 4pada. Mars in aslesha. Thought that jupitor aspects can protect its aspects. But its basic nature as u said yes its effected.
