I tried root cutting a month ago. And I planted them anew, but they haven't sprouted even after a month. Did I do something wrong? Or are these just failed roots?

Just did a propagation of my Operculicarya Decaryi today. Hopefully it works out! What do you think of root hormone? Or is that not helpful for this?
