  • Great boat! Not the fastest hull (kinda heavy and no steps) but a blast nonetheless.
This was the only 26 Outlaw with a 600sci ever made! Yes, I was the only one crazy enough to do the 600sci in this boat. Got an ok deal on the order, and Baja kicked back over 10k for testing purposes before delivery. Ran a best of 80mph on GPS. Average was upper 70s on GPS. Best prop was a stock 28p Bravo 1. -Tried a labbed 28 B1, labbed 30 B1, stock 28 B1, stock 30 B1, and a mirage or two. Stock 28 was best all around. This is a 2007. Again, the only one from the factory with the 600sci ever. I think there were maybe 10? or so ordered with the 525efi but 99% came with the (boring to me) 496HO. I like over-powered boats and prefer smaller boats with singles. This boat isn't squirrely at all. Honestly could have handled way more power. Ideally, I think 900-1000hp and a 30-32 pitch Bravo 1 prop would have been incredible. But it was a fun boat. Footage is all on Lake Norman where we lived. Beautiful Lake. 500+ miles of shoreline. Enjoy!

Sorry for the slow response. 2007 was the first year. They went out of business in 2010? -couple years into the recession. I think the 600 was available 07, 08, 09 etc. Just not many orders. Most were 496. Probably a few 525s each year, but only a couple of 600s total. I'd guess 2 or 3 max. Was a fun boat!

Honestly was super stable. even at max speed of 80 on GPS it was pretty stable. Didn't chine walk much at all. Could have handled 900-1000hp and a bigger prop!
