- Just checking my rear cam, which as gone up the creak, apologies. I have now reset it, but not for this.
I heard something on the way through Greenwich, way behind, to no noticed, but when resetting the cam, checked the SD found this.
Rubbish footage, but one can make out very easily what happened. The guy seems to be fine, judging by the footage. However the Eon van should have looked, however one could say, why did the motorbike go down the inside?, no idea. Personally for going down the inside, bike rider at fault.
It all depends whether the van driver indicated or not.
Filtering is risky. The motorcyclist needs to watch for turning vehicles, but did the van driver indicate? Also the van driver probably was not looking out for or expecting the motorcycle to be passing. From the location, the incident happened on Trafalgar Road, junction with Earlswood Rd. This is where the post office van parks in the bike lane, and bushes around the base of trees was recently cut back. The cam was affected by the low sun, but still good enough to see what and where it happened.
Hope the guy is OK. Can't see if the van indicated or not.
