I do love the theme of the collection and appreciate all the effort that goes into every polish Monique makes. Love the 30% off sale. Monique has more sales than most any other indie brand and keeps her shade in stock a long time and brings back ones that sells out. That’s so fantastic!

Such a beautiful collection! I like the mix of finishes; they're classic fall colours but they still feel exciting and new. Bookmarks the Spot is like a less intense version of DVN's Tannin in the Leaves. Looks like both have such a beautiful glow! Gilded Edges makes me think of ILNP's Sunburst and the Nailpollies gold you recently showed - are they not that similar in real life?

I have a couple of Cracked polishes and really enjoy their quality and brushes. Not sure why people disliked their cracked handles to the point that they changed them - to me, it made their brand to stand out (also easily detectable in the polish drawer haha :) Bookmarks is SO lovely! Interestingly, almost exact one just popped in Little Box of Horrors, it is a charity one offered by Wicked Lacquer. I understand charity and would support, but noticed that price was raised drastically to compensate those $3 from each bottle, so their price is $15 for 10ml bottle... Hmm, maybe I don't understand how charities and businesses work together.. but Cracked charity polish is priced the same as their others, so I would definitely choose theirs because they seem to be honest. Thank you, as always, for great video!

Right!! Her past few collections have really been 💯 I’m glad you enjoyed the comparisons! But hmm, im not sure which OAP you mean, I think all the OAP reds lean more muted and berry toned.. maybe the closest to color is Garnet, but that’s a shimmery metallic sort of finish!

Nice collection for Fall. Leather Bound gave me Orly’s Stop the Clock vibes, but Leather has that green shift & a little lighter. Not dupes but close enough for me though. Thanks for the review and comparisons. Great job as always! Happy Sunday!

aw thank you so much!! unfortunately i dont have either of those shades, my best guess though is that Abundance as a warmer reddish coppery shimmer head on? so less brown. the LynB looks pretty similar, its hard to say for sure due to differences in lighting etc, maaaybe its a smidge brighter than Read. i hope that helps! ♥️
Such a pretty collection! Very nice for fall. But for me personally I feel like I have too many shades that could be dupes or at least very similar to these. A Quiet Corner reminds me so so much of an old Ethereal PPU shade from 9/22 called No, you hang up first inspired by the Scream movies. And Leather-bound is so so pretty but it for sure reminds me of MC. I wonder if Book Marks the spot would compare to MC Whiskey Sunrise.
Totally get what you mean! I just looked up the Ethereal and can definitely see what you mean, i think~ Cracked is darker but the shimmer is so bright it might be barely noticeable! And yeah Leather Bound is basically a dupe for Dark Horse too.. I would say Whiskey Sunrise is a bit more reddish head on with copper edges, so maybe in specific lighting they would look more similar? But I wouldn’t call them near dupes or anything personally
I personally think they’re different enough you can justify both, Amber is more of a true orange with a yellow shimmer, so Bookmarks is deeper, warmer & more opaque too!
I'm curious about how Bookmarks The Spot and Leather Bound compare to Cracked's Pinching Bronzed Pennies. I love several of these. In particular I've been holding off on getting Holo Taco's Silent Library, and while it's obvious they're nowhere near dupes, A Quiet Corner is scratching the same itch that HT is causing. I'm a Cracked devotee, so I think I'll probably be going with this one. Thanks for the swatches as always!!

Demeters harvest is a bit brighter of a yellow with a more green shimmer, so like the spring/summer version of Gilded edges if that makes sense!
