Mima Ito did not play so well in the Team-Match,
but it is no surprise Ning Ding is an amazing ping pong player.
Sad Ning Ding did get fever and need to leave the tournament,
also Ma Long got problems with the back and Kasumi got a Leg-Injury.
I hope they all get well soon and will back in the game.
Miu Hirano did play so well in the Team-Match, also in the whole tournament
she did play so well, I am really proud of her, she really did make a progress in her skills
and playing in the end of this year, I hope she will continue like this.
Ai-Chan sadly did lost VS Chen Meng who did play so well.
Chen Meng did also win the Mix-Double with Fan.
I thought Mima-Chan will not forget how high she did lost VS Ning Ding,
but she did, she is so strong and brave for her age.......
Mima Ito and Miu Hirano got really good chances to be in the double final
Mima Ito did beat Mengyu Yu and did play an amazing Match VS Zhu also when she did
sadly lost the match she really makes it not easy for Zhu Yuling,
the 1st 3 Sets she did lost but the 4th she did win 8-11 and the next
in an amazing fighting 20-22 for Mima Ito and the Last one she did lost close 9-11,
it is sad she did fight so hard, when she would be there much earlier in the Game she might won this Match.
Good Luck for Mima-Chan & Miu-Chan in the double, I hope they will make it to the finals.
+橋本絵莉子 I hope Miu-chan will be able to catch up and surpass Mima again. From what I can see, Miu-chan was better than Mima as late as 2014, right? I've only been into table tennis for like a week, lol.
Do you guys who understand table tennis a lot more than I think it's possible for Miu-chan to become a main player in the Japanese team again? Cuz I like Miu-chan a lot better than Ito Mima.

Yes she can she is still young, but she has to become more constant in her performance.
But it will not be easy there are so many good playing Japanese Girls Hitomi Sato, Miyu Maeda, Honoka Hashimoto, Yui Hamamoto(she is in the national Team atm), Ai Fukuhara, Kasumi Ishikawa, Mima Ito, Miyuu Kihara is very great she is only 12 Years old and playing so great, Natsumi Nakahata, Misako Wakamiya, Yuka Ishigaki, Hina Hayata, Miyu Kato, Mori Sakura, Kyoka Kato .... there are so many..
Miu Hirano was better then Mima Ito when both where still younger and Junior players I think, then they where 2014 equal and now Mima Ito is a bit better, Mima Ito did make a great progress she is very talented and very fast.
I like Miu Hirano also a lot I hope she will become National Player, but this will be very hard as long as there are Ai Fikuhara, Kasumi Ishikawa, Mima Ito in the Top Ten of the World Ranking.
It's funny how there are so many "Miyu"s in the list. I know the Kanji for their names are probably different, but still.
I'm thinking Fukuhara Ai will probaby retire soon, although she might want to hold out until after the 2020 olympics. Ishikawa kasumi will probably be the main force, and Japan's no.1 in 2020. Then the other spot will probably be between fukuhara and ito. I hope that Miu-chan can surpass mima again and take the no.2 spot, though.
BTW do you know what happened to hirano sayaka? did she retire? she's not on the ittf ranking list anymore.

at 24:48 the serve after the time out should be Fukuhara's. She served at 4:6. It's funny no one noticed it.

I'm Japanese, but I think I have seen, have approached China more than the past and have come technically. However a Japanese player has the fatal fault absolutely. As far as there is that, it isn't possible to win in China eternally. It's a regrettable thing, but that's real.
