Meal Kit Faceoff | Home Chef vs. Hello Fresh

Hi everyone!
Today I thought we’d do something fun and test out two dinners from two different meal kit companies and see who makes it out on top!
I’m looking for how easy is to put together, how many steps there are, how many dishes it creates, how fresh the ingredients are and most importantly - how tasty it is overall.

Thank you for doing this. I've been using Hello Fresh for a little over a year (6 meals every two weeks-ish has been perfect for me), but I have been grumbling about the quality and repetitive recipes lately. I've been thinking about switching to Home Chef and this might be the push I needed. Thanks!

I tried Hellofresh, Everyplate, and Dinnerly. I’m now on Home Chef.. I think Home Chef’s menu is more interesting. There’s more variety of veggies. Also, they sometimes give you a pan to bake the dish in.

I agree!! I want to try Green Chef as well because I’ve heard good things. I think they were acquired by Hello Fresh but I’d love to do another comparison video featuring them and another meal kit service. 😍

@@lindak1768hi Linda! Thank you for asking. I wish I went over this in the video. 😅 They were actually only $1 difference! At least at the time I ordered. They both run specials and coupons frequently so that could vary. But generally, cost with them are very similar. Hope this helps!

My husband likes HelloFresh but with my last order they sent me 3 meals with 2 instruction cards.
