And their albums are really solid. There's plenty of great music and groups in K-pop but aespa really has this confidence and sass, almost camp. The acting and fun in their MV is magnetic. I was a preteen/teen in the early 2000s and I feel like the fashion in this video is the best callback to the true chaos and in your face energy of that time that I've seen yet in kpop (except probably XG but they're sort of not kpop). Everyone keeps trying to make y2k aesthetically pleasing which honestly sucks the soul out of it because very little real y2k fashion was actually aesthetically pleasing. So I loved the look of this video.
