Man that mathmech was super lucky. Like unbelievably lucky. I'm playing exosisters and I love getting matchup'd with mathmech because the matchup is just unfair like summon Asophiel and they're done.
I mean Id rather see those than Maxx C/Ash/imperm in every deck, atleast those arent as generic of negates (they are pretty generic but are atleast relatively dead against atleast some decks, while Maxx C and Ash are only dead against meme/bad/trap control decks), and atleast you have some possibility of playing aorund them, unlike maxx c and Imperm where its just, do you have called by and can you play after imperm (ash does have some level of playing around but is still closer to being braindead card)
18:13 that's not true. It's about cost. You can chain snow infinite amout of times even though it would change it's place how ever magnifica doesn't have that cost and effect that don't have cost can only be activated once per chain.
I appreciate the fast forwarding when the player is cooking but suggest slowing it back down when there is an important decision point or something to emphasize sometimes.
For me reaching top8 was a great achievement, I am still a beginner at this game. Also, the players I played against were fair-play and polite. Thank you Dkayed and team for hosting these amazing tournaments. I will come back stronger for the next tournament! ❤
That orcust dude play around maxx c n nibiru to almost perfection. That is no duel links level, the dude is extremely experienced duelist to be able to read whatever card his opponent have
I dropped MD & been playing Duel Links bcuz its mobile friendly & can be played on the go & on breaks, but these tournaments are my fav part of the week
I love duel links but the cost of building a deck is the most stupid thing If they were to update it the same way as master duel like dismantling cards ti craft other then I would full agree that it’s one of the better yugioh games atleast visually for me
Huge missplay by naturia runick on game 3, should of quick effect synchro summoned to barkion to protect suflower or camellia from getting banished, and be able to possibly negate second backrow, which is mostly always a trap when playing agaisnt exo sisters, then negate the xyz on the field with sleeping curses when its effect is activated.
These are decks Im seeing quite often in Gold 2 and up. I made it to Plat using either my Metamorphosed Beetroopers or my Kairyulaments so Im curious to if Ima make Diamond for the first time with them against these decks.

I know a lot of people dont like circular like cards (reasonable opinion without a doubt) and I know there are a lot of braindead mathmech players who dont put a lot of thought in their lines but man does this deck rule when players know their stuff, them and D-link are probably my 2 favourite combo decks to watch when they are being played by good players. Pend magicians Bird up and Swordsoul maybe in second place
this is nice meta. every tournament is different champ. the only thing that bothers me is, fountain. mf POG is banned but draw 3 every turn is acceptable at 2 copy?
It’s not a plus 3 though, you have to go -3 to get +3 so in reality it’s a +0 . It’s a card that’s meant for the archetype to never have a lack of spell, since spells always go -1 for effect and monster effects don’t.
@@alexkang6805 not all only 3 have 1 for 1 effects, one’s a effect negation, one’s s/t removal, and the other is special summon removal. The others are super dependent on certain effects like dispelling or just there to banish/ stop attacks. In all you have only 3 interruptions with runicks, the decks focus mainly is to cycle through the deck get the cards you really want and make a playable game. As you can see in the games, nat runick runs on being able to completely out grind your opponent and win games. Nothing really unfair with that, SS and other control have done it for years. Not to mention, your losing valuable hand trap space by adding 17 runicks, and draws off fountain may not even lead to any interruptions on your opp turn. How can you call it unfair if the best board this deck can possibly make is the 3 good Runick cards , barrone, nat beast. That’s with the best hand possible, while most boards are just barrone pass which in most cases isn’t really that good.
@@Csthh idk man, its just, kinda overwhelming to deal with. with every spell activated banishes our decks thinner, the fs itself draws and recycle, u can search it up almost everytime, infact with nat infinite negate spells or traps, refueling gy for the fs(if it mills the quickplay spell ofc, which most of the time,,, it will), this in itself is pretty demoralizing to keep on going. id rather scoop rather than keep on playing. even protos doesnt do me like dat 😅🤣

I mean obviously it’s going to overwhelm you, all meta decks can do that, though it’s far more fair, it does almost nothing to your ED and most of the times you just have 3 of’s all the important combo pieces. It’s a pure control deck, that sure can bring nat beast, buts unless your basically runick you have outs for. I guess Protoss doesn’t, but when facing a full d-link board with maybe 6-7 interruptions or kash end board with most zones locked. It’s the most fair of the bunch, I’ve done pretty nasty things with d-link that I probably would never lose with.

This is why Salamangreat is the best structure deck for new players! You get a playset of Cynet Mining to use in Mathmech!

As someone who is playing punk kash right now, I couldn’t believe how hard they misplayed. Punisher in defense position is ridiculous.
