no problem thanks
Im new to...all of this. Ive been trying to watch tutorials on learning to use synths and vital but its hard for me to understand how one knows where to begin to tweak all these things to make a sound, there are so many knobs and things to link its amazing. Following this tutorial gave me some XP points lol thank you!
hehe nice, yea can be a bit confusing at first but vital is a good synth to learn with
Syntorial******** can't recommend it enough. I've gone through a lot of it and I'm honestly finding vital to be really easy and intuitive now, when before just looking at synths scared me. They use a very basic synth but they explain what everything does and with that knowledge you can start experimenting in vital
how's your progress coming along? I'm curious, I just started in January and I have a pretty good grip on synthesizers now.
@@sporngberb1681 Its rough to answer lol. Vital is the only synth ive messed with, but seeing serum in some tutorial videos I recognize some functions.
Ive definitely come a long way with Vital. Sometimes at the store I can visualize LFO shapes from what song is playing lol.
@@lordwrath9621 did you buy serum?

Simple and effective. You can even map note velocity to LFO 1 frequency to control it through just MIDI.
Literal Magic!

You're too good bro!
thanks for watching
3:08 Just in case for people who don't know, you can just use the low pass in the OSC 3 spectral warp, saves you Filter 2.
thats true didnt know that good tip!
finally I found something without Ableton OTT :D
haha
Glorgunk tables are the best ones
what is the second program that your uzing?
i sat down playing with the frequency step design for like 30 minutes hahahahha
nice!
@@provensounds the tutorial is amazing, omw to sound like virtual riot ty
how do you pulse the note whitout the click
Is the wavetable available in the free version?
For some reason, I can’t get the last step modulating the frequency to work. It is mapped, but it just doesn’t sound any different. Any ideas?
I´m with yu right until you start making a pattern in the growl at around 06.30. It´s just one continues growl when I do it. Any idea what I´m doing wrong?
Sounds like old barelly alive
Excellent tutorial! So if I understand correctly, you have to compose your melodies using the LFO sequence and pitch automation instead of placing midi notes at different pitches within the midi clip?
It seems that the LFO 2 can only do quarter note, eight note, and 16th note. So how can you create a sequence with a combination of triplet rhythms (3-based) and 2-based rhythms?
I'm new to this too, but I was messing around with it a bit and found that if you click on the quarter note next to the frequency that it has the option to switch it to tempo triplets. Not sure if that helps
Wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wo
wow wow
Is there a way to make sure it's in time?
thnks , but jog wheel dont work to modulate speed
does anyone know how to make VST stay on screen if you click else where.
how did you get glorglunk?
The bass is saying "yay".
This guys swedish accent is so thick and it's hilarious for me as a Swede to be able to hear this instantly😂 linear uttalas "linniör"
Some parts didnt work but at least I made my growl
0:38 när svenskan tar över för mycket hahah. nämen skit bra video mannen!
hehe japp tack
Good gracious I can't get it right
i am going insane please i cant get it right
Can someone recomend me some drumpack sample for dubstep?
998(TAIWAN🇹🇼😁✌️)X瑞典🇸🇪
is this ableton?
And how is the plugin called?
Ok, it's Vital :)
This is just insanenly difficult
Get rid of the yoi in the growl. Anything without yoi in the growls, wubs. Use different sound
good tutorial, and you sound like George Saint Pierre talking....
Sounds more like zomboy
yea maybe good point!
wubbox:
Osc 2? No volume
It's modulating through the fm, it would cause the sine tonality to come through if the level was up, so it would be a dissonant hum on top. By fm ing you get the change to oscillator 1 without the sound of the actual sine wave.
