Dude, thanks for this!!! Very informative. Not sure what a Spectral Denoise is but everything else made relitive sense to this newbie. Always noticed some people's gates sounding horrendous but never knew the alternative solutions. Again, thanks.
Important question: How do I make the DBX286s turn into an expander?
It is an expander. Keep the ratio under 2:1 so it expands down. Use higher ratios so it sounds more like a gate.
