I loved your content at GCSE, got a 9, really hoped you had A level videos despite your name and HOORAH you do! 😅 loved it as always, hopefully you get all the videos out by the time I do my exams :) you seem to be posting every fortnight or so per chapter - you’ll get through it quite quick then yay 😀
Wow, amazing news! So glad to hear that you have carried on to do A-Level maths and a huge congratulations on your grade 9, what an achievement!!! 🥳 I should have most if not all of the A-Level content done this year, I’ve got one more video to do and then chapter 4 will be complete, and I’ve done bits and bobs from all the other chapters, please do keep in touch and let me know how you are getting on, I’d love to hear!! 🙏🏽
Haha glad to hear it! if you also go into each of the individual lessons then there really is everything! The whole course is going to take some work to complete 😬
22:12 am I wrong in saying the x+2 for x and y was wrong? You put 1 2 3 5 7 but if it is x + 2 then 2+2=4 and 3+2=5 no? So it would be 12345 not 12357?
Haha wow!! What on earth was going through my head there!! I did plot the graph correctly but somehow put some bizarre numbers in those last two slots 🤣🤦🏽🤦🏽 well spotted! It’s been a while since I made a mistake I guess it was due…
I hope i'm not too late but for this question, we would draw a quadratic graph for values of x. The video shows us solving for 2 values of x and these are the two points for where this graph intersects the x-axis. Since the original quadratic is greater than zero, we are looking for values of x that create a value greater than 0 when used in the formula. That means if you put a number smaller than -1/2 into the quadratic, you will get a number greater than 0. This new number is the value for Y on the graph. However, using numbers between -1/2 and 3 will give a value lower than 0 on the graph and will therefore, not be part of the set of values for x. This means the set for x must include all values below -1/2 and above 3 but not including the numbers between. Hope this helped!
Thank you so much sir, for another incredible video. You make Maths so enjoyable and interesting to learn.I really like your videos as they are incredibly useful especially for autodidacts who are self-studying A-Level maths like myself. Keep up the amazing work!!!
Thank you for the kind words! I’m so glad to hear that the channel has been helpful, how are you finding self-studying? Always like to know that my channel is going to some good use! @@Tru_th I might start writing it separately if I see it on exam papers or in the textbook. We’ve been writing it all in one set in school
