Good review. I have the GT600 and it has buttons to change the speed vs a slide. I probably wouldn't have bought it if it had the slide like you pointed out. It's loud but effective, I never put it above 1600 RPM on my Alienware M18R1. It does an amazing job. This one is so similar, so it may come down to price, availability and preferences on controls.
Thank you for your review !, yeap the sliding compare to the scrolling is a huge improvement for the llano I actually feel more confident scrolling to the right RPM rather then sliding and miss it
All things you said arr on point! kudos. Llano and GT600 both do its job well. so therefore, you can buy what's available near you and you're good to go. Personally, I own GT600 and one thing that I think needs to improve is to have illumination on the buttons. I agree that GT600 is quite on low to mid speed.
Thank you for doing experiments both gt 626 and llano. When you have chance can you compare the “arrow chill” cooling pad? I have not seen anyone comparing arrow chill in youtube yet. Thank you so much
I have a very toasty razer blade 15, I changed the thermal paste for PTM7950 and also replaced the battery because it was already bloated, but even with all that it gets very hot under low use and when playing it can burn your finger even though I have disabled turbo boost. I might need to buy that cooler.
Ok this kind of laptop esp like razor are like Mac book, it doesn’t work if there is no air vent on the bottom I am sure about razor but this cooling pad doesn’t work for macbook because of the design
@@RISINTECH They are like MacBooks in the sense that they are also made out of a block of aluminum, however, they do have intake vents at the bottom. I am currently using a cheap cooler pad, but it hasn't really helped.
@@RISINTECH Yeah it's popular these days but I don't think it can even match the power of GT626 or V12. However there is only one way to find out. 🤷🏻♀️
Can I ask that will those two actually help my machine last longer? I don't play games much but since all the games I play and the stuffs I do are mostly heavy workloads (AAA, video editing and rendering...), I am quite worried about the hardware components inside. Also do those two still helpful and worth the penny even when running below 1000RPM? The noise can be quite a concern for me (not for me personally but for everyone around me is ehh) I tried and really don't want to get the quiet and the cheap ones because many experts said that they don't help much compared to just lift the machine's back up a little bit. So what are your thoughts about this? Anyway thanks and love your videos always!
Yes it does just think about it, if your machine keep stressing overheating and require for fan speed to keep it cool eventually it will wear it down but with this cooling pad it help to cooldown the laptop without using your laptop fan, which means less stress and the most important thing is dust protection, u have another layer to filter out all the dust that is sucking into your laptop. Just picture a filter water on your pipe, the more filter u have the cleaner the water will be. Now in term of the fan noise, honestly is not that bad but then again is really depends on you or your surrounding, I can’t comment much on that because is a personal thing and those cheap laptop fan are so so … it works too but for a small result u can try but personally I would always get a good cooling pad
Hey risin, just wondering how you were able to remove the 2 front supports on the GT600. I also have no interest in using them since the angle I use very flat, thanks
Is the overall noise lowered when running even on low RPM? I run quite demanding tasks in an office environment and would like to gain a few degrees but not at the cost of overall increase noise.
Thankyou soo much. I have a asus f15 4060 intel i7-1200h and my vents are at the bottom and the top . The laptop is 15.6" and im wondering if both of these products would fit well. The foam wont block the vents at the bottom right?
My mom got me an Acer Predator Helios Neo 16, I was considering to buy a laptop cooler even though i already have a stainless laptop stand. Should I buy a laptop cooler? I also asked this to laptop experts, they said that it's not recommended, but I wanna here ya'll thoughts
Hi! Never owned a laptop cooler before. Are the dust filters washable and reusable? or do you have to purchase new ones? If they are, will running them through water be enough? Thanks!
I have same. What are your temps without it? My cpu gets to 90 sometimes 95 when gaming. I got this and it hovers around 80 to 90 now low rpm, like 800 to 1000

When this pushes air into your laptop and cools your laptop, In most cases the fans seeing a lower temperatures will be told to spin slower. If this blows air into your laptop faster than your fans are blowing it will spin your fans faster than they should be. Every TH-cam video says fans spinning faster than they should do the air cans blowing in on cleaning is bad and they should be locked in place. Also If your fans are sucking faster than this cooling pad or of the cooling pad is off then the seal may starve your fans of air. Somebody please tell me I'm wrong. I want to be wrong.
@@Ratseeker very similar llano with the same speed has better cooling but just 2 Celsius difference but abit louder then gt600, but for the prices is llano is cheaper so I would go for that. But then again if u increase the speed for gt600 it also can reduce the same amount with less noise, but I recently got another cooling pad llano v10 which suppose to be less noise but have to see how well it goes but that’s only for 16” below
