My biggest issue with the first season is that they rushed it, and it felt they could have done a couple of more episodes to make it feel more natural. Now as soon as they came to a new place it was over within a few minutes before heading towards the next place. Doesn't feel like a natural progression.
Which is exactly some of the criticism with the movies which Riordan himself expressed so it's very mind boggling he'd do the same with the series as the head executive
